Tangmarg, October 29, 2024: Continuing his dedication to public service and development in the Gulmarg Constituency, MLA Gulmarg, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah, chaired review meetings today in Block Kunzer and Lalpora to assess ongoing development projects and public welfare initiatives. Mr. Shah engaged with local officials, emphasizing the importance of timely completion of projects and efficient public service delivery.

Meanwhile Mr. Shah visited Government Girls High School, Chandilora to assess the available infrastructure and facilities. He interacted with the staff and students to gain insights into their challenges and requirements. Mr. Shah assured for every possible support emphasizing the importance of nurturing young minds for a brighter future.

In a significant event, Mr. Shah flagged off a new Hopper Vehicle to improve sanitation and waste management efforts in Block Kunzer. He also inaugurated a new Meeting Hall in Panchayat Halqa Batpora, Block Kunzer. This dedicated facility will serve as a hub for community activities and official meetings, fostering closer interaction between the public and the administration.

Later in the day, Mr. Shah visited Kheminderpora and Shoom to pay condolences to the bereaved families who recently lost their loved ones. He expressed his heartfelt sympathies and assured the families of his support during their time of grief.

Srinagar:The National Human Rights Social Justice Council held its annual function at the Head Office in Parray Pora, Srinagar, on October 26th. The meeting reviewed the organization's achievements across various sectors, including women's empowerment, health, education, unemployment, and civil disputes. Additionally, the session introduced the establishment of a Lok Adalat in Srinagar to facilitate the resolution of civil disputes through mediation and amicable settlements.

During the meeting, the honorable Director General, Adv. MI Zargar Patnavi, announced the promotions of several members to new positions. Mr. Sheikh Abdur Rahman was elevated to the role of Chairman of J&K, while Mr. Shah Muhib Bahzad Ghani was appointed as the General Secretary of J&K UT.
