One-Time Relaxation Granted for Fire Victims of Warwan under PMAY-G

On the direction of the Hon’ble MLA Inderwal, the Secretary to the Government, Rural Development Department (RDD), has issued a one-time relaxation for the fire victims of Warwan. This significant move aims to provide much-needed relief to the affected families who lost their homes in a devastating fire.

Under this special relaxation, a proposal for the induction of all 85 houses for the affected beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) has been approved on the PMAY portal. This decision reflects the government's commitment to supporting the victims in rebuilding their lives and ensuring access to safe and sustainable housing.

The Hon’ble MLA Inderwal expressed his gratitude to the Secretary, RDD, for the swift response to his proposal. He emphasized that the inclusion of these houses under PMAY-G will expedite the rehabilitation process and help restore normalcy for the affected families in Warwan.

The beneficiaries have welcomed this initiative, acknowledging it as a lifeline in their time of need. The district administration has been directed to oversee the implementation and ensure the timely disbursal of benefits under PMAY-G.

This step underscores the government’s dedication to addressing the needs of vulnerable communities and reaffirming its commitment to include development.

Sadat Doolwal expressed grief over the martyrdom of 4 soldiers

JAMMU:- Saddat Doolwal expressed grief over the martyrdom of four Indian soldiers and the injuries of several others when the truck carrying them overturned off the road and fell into a deep ravine near Wolar View Point in Bandipora district. Doolwal said that according to media reports, the four bodies have been recovered and the injured have been taken to a local hospital. The condition of other injured soldiers is said to be critical. Most places in North India experienced dense fog conditions early on Saturday. It was not clear whether the truck accident was caused by poor visibility due to dense fog, Doolwal said in this hour of grief I stand with the deceased families to bear the irreparable loss which can't be fullfill easily
