Rajouri Deaths : Omar Abdullah Directs Health & Police Departments To Expedite Investigations
Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today chaired a high-level meeting to discuss the alarming situation in Budhal village of Rajouri district, where mysterious deaths have claimed 16 lives, with one more victim succumbing to an unexplained illness. The meeting was attended by Minister of Health & Medical Education, Sakeena Itoo; Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani; Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo; Additional Chief Secretary to the CM, Dheeraj Gupta; ADGP Jammu, Anand Jain; Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar; Secretary Health & Medical Education, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, and other senior medical and police officer. Highlighting the urgency of the situation, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah directed the health and police departments to expedite their investigations. “The unexplained nature of these deaths is deeply concerning, and the government is committed to ensuring that the root cause is identified at the earliest. Farooq Abdullah Escapes Unhurt In Road Accident In Rajasthan
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah escaped unhurt when a car in his convoy met with an accident near Dausa, Rajasthan. The vehicle struck a blue bull (Neel Gai) on the highway, activating its front airbags. Abdullah, en route to Ajmer Dargah Sharif, was traveling with Delhi Police escorts and is confirmed safe.

A Pakistan court on Friday found former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi guilty of corruption in the 190 million pounds al-Qadir Trust case and sentenced them to 14 and seven years in prison respectively. Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the anti-corruption court announced the verdict that had been deferred thrice due to different reasons, last time on January 13.
