It was founded by Pandit Hazari Lal Sharma, renowned freedom fighter, journalist, philanthropist and statesman of his time, on 1st August 1951. It was inaugurated by Babu Jagjiwan Ram, Union Cabinet Minister at Jaipur. Today Rashtradoot is published from eight strategically located editions spread across Rajasthan, that is, Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota, Bikaner, Ajmer, Jodhpur (Jalore), Churu and Hindaun

City, covering the largest state of the country very effectively. It is printed on latest state-of-the-art color web-offset printing machines.
