Kedarnath yatris thrashed with sticks by pony service providers, after pilgrims sought to help injured horse.
In a disappointing development in Uttarakhand’s Kedarnath temple, a group of pilgrims was reportedly thrashed by horse herders. The incident took place on Saturday when the pilgrims sought assistance for a distressed horse.
Taking cognisance of the matter, Rudraprayag police told media, “Every devotee reaching the door of the 11th Jyotirlinga Baba Kedar can feel safe, in such a situation necessary guidelines have been given to all the in-charges to take effective action against those who misbehave with the devotees.”
In yet another abduct-and-convert case from Pakistan, a Hindu girl from the country’s Sindh province was forcibly converted to Islam and married off, her father said. The 14-year-old girl, identified as Sohana, was kidnapped by her tutor, Akhtar and his accomplices. She was then sent to the Qazi Ahmed Taluka of Sindh’s Shaheed Benazirabaad district. The teen girl’s father, Dileep Kumar, spoke about the incident and claimed that three armed men, Akhtar Gabol, Faizan Jat, and Sarang Khaskheli, broke into their home, stole gold jewellery, and kidnapped Sohana under threat of violence. Her father told the media that all the documents produced by the accused to prove that she had converted to Islam and married a Muslim man of her own free will were fake.“I don’t know how government officials can stamp such documents when the girl is 14 years old,” he said.Kidnapping and forced conversions of young Hindu girls in the interior of Sindh have become a menace for Hindu families.A minority group called Pakistan Darawar Ittehad (PDI) even organised a protest march from the Karachi Press Club to the Sindh Assembly Building in March, and some afflicted families from the countryside participated in the event.According to Shiva Kachhi, president of the PDI, it is rare for a Hindu girl to be returned to her family because the police are typically unwilling to comply, despite the organization’s efforts.“There have been dozens of cases since last year and most of these girls are underage be it Sheela Meghwar, who was abducted from Mirpur Mathelo in Ghotki on March 19 this year, Chanda Maharaj, Simran Kumari, Pooja Kumari, Satran Oad, Kaveeta Bheel, Vijjya Kumari or Sohana now,” he said.Source - Wion
Canada govt failing to stop pro-khalistani movements, killing of Indira Gandhi celebrated with 5km parade.
The video is believed to be from June 4, days before the 39th anniversary of Operation Blue Star in which militant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was killed along with other militants in an operation carried out by the Indian Army at the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar.
The Army stormed the Sikh shrine on the orders of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. And while the operation succeeded in flushing out the militants from the shrine, months later, Indira was shot dead by two of her Sikh bodyguards on October 31, 1984, at her official residence in New Delhi.
To note, India has, time and again, flagged off concerns about the unchecked activities of pro-Khalistani elements in Canada. In March, the External Affairs Ministry had summoned the Canadian high commissioner to lodge a protest against ‘the actions of separatist and extremist elements’ against India’s diplomatic mission and consulates in Canada. This was after the number of protests outside Indian missions increased as the Punjab police launched a statewide manhunt against pro-Khalistani separatist preacher Amritpal Singh. The Waris Punjab De leader was eventually arrested after a month-long chase.
The latest video has drawn sharp reactions from social media users who questioned the brazenness with which pro-Khalistani elements were operating on foreign land.
One user said, “India should reprimand Canada for such open display justifying terrorist and terror acts. Canada-based Khalistanis are the worst ambassadors for Sikhs. Hope the larger Sikh community understands this. No one can accept justification for the killing of Indira Gandhi who was PM that time.”

Alcohol can help people loosen up and enjoy the present moment. But too much of anything may not result in appropriate behaviours including replicating movies/acts. Now, a video which is currently doing rounds on social media has netizens in shock. Uploaded on YouTube by user ‘Satya Prakash Bharti’, the 16-second video shows a man sitting on the bull and riding through the streets of Rishikesh in Uttarakhand.
In the video, the man can be seen riding a bull in full speed as he says, “Kailash Pati Nath ki Jai Ho.” He can be seen getting dodged by a scooty as he rides the animal in full speed. “Boy Riding Bull in Rishikesh Uttrakhand,” wrote the YouTube user.
Since being uploaded, the video has gone viral and it has people in complete shock.
Describing the late-night incident, Uttarakhand police tweeted in Hindi, which when translated in English reads as, “Taking cognizance of the video circulated on social media about a drunk youth riding on a bull in Tapovan, Rishikesh, late at night on May 5, legal action has been taken against the youth, and the youth was warned not to misbehave with animals in this way in the future.”
While many people were shocked by the video and thought it was inappropriate, others compared it to Jallikattu and claimed the young man hadn’t done anything that deserved legal action.
Jallikattu is an event in which a bull is let loose into a throng of spectators, and everyone tries to grasp on to the bull’s massive back hump with both arms while it makes an attempt to flee.
No More Dance, Reels or ‘Objectionable’ Behaviour Inside Trains, Police in Mufti To Be Deployed.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is planning to deploy police officials in Metro coaches, both in uniforms and civil clothes, to check unruly and “objectionable” behaviours inside the train.
The decision came after multiple such incidents, including public masturbation, were reported recently.
The DMRC is reportedly chalking out a comprehensive surveillance plan to improve security mechanisms. The top officials have directed Delhi Metro’s flying squads to do frequent patrols across the network.
The surveillance of onboard CCTV cameras will also be augmented, the official sources stated. Some of the old coaches do not have CCTV cames and the officials will be installing them soon.
Earlier in April, videos had emerged of a woman travelling in the Metro wearing what people claimed to be “inappropriate clothing”. More recently, on April 28, the Delhi Police lodged an FIR after a video, where a man was seen masturbating in a coach, surfaced online.
However, DMRC was unable to verify when the incident took place, or whether it happened inside a Delhi Metro coach. The same day, DMRC appealed to commuters to report any “objectionable” behaviour on their helpline - 155370 and asked commuters to conduct themselves responsibly.

Brahmins do not belong to India, they are from Russia: RJD leader makes anti-Brahmin remark.
The RJD leader alleged that DNA testing has supposedly confirmed that Brahmins are outsiders and have descended from Russia and other European nations. “They have come here from Russia and are dividing and making us fight amongst ourselves. In this way, Brahmins are ruling over us,” he brazened it out.
Yaduvansh Kumar Yadav then went on to threaten the Brahmin community and called upon ‘Yadavs’ to kick them out of this country. “Like how they were once removed from Russia, we also need to chase them out and send them back to their original place,” he continued his anti-Brahmin rant.
It must be mentioned that Yadav is the National Secretary of Rashtriya Janata Dal and has served as a former MLA of Bihar.
In August last year, RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav mocked the Brahmin community during a war of words with BJP leader Giriraj Singh. While making a sly reference to the Shikha/ Lambi choti, he said, “Keeping a lambi choti does not make you knowledgeable.”
