The young Indore seems to be quite fascinated by the new Tattoo trend. After different types of designs its now trying the new portrait style. The modern youth is getting their favorite star or life partner’s tattoo engraved on their body. It might take anything between 3-4 days to get a tattoo of choice drawn. It is the job that need a fine artist to be accomplished; can not be done by general tattoo artists. So are the charges Rs.1500 per square inch. But it is not a reason strong enough to deter our young brigade. People are spending as much as 45k on getting a portrait drawn. The trend is gearing up among the 20-35 age group in the city. Just a craze to look different is encouraging them get their dreams drawn on their limbs in the for of attractive tattoos. One Shweta Anugra acknowledges her fascination for John Abrahim and, since she had saw a young boy on television having a John’s tattoo on his neck, she had decided to get one herself, and has got it on her arm now. Likewise, Mr. Kartik Desai, a businessman, says that the couple got each other’s tattoos drawn on their arms to celebrate their 15th marriage anniversary. Portrait tattoos give much better feeling than other designs. We feel like to be near whom we love. The tattoo sizes start from 4 inch and can get anywhere upto 9 inch and cost can go anywhere upto 18k. but there are many people who like to get their entire back arm or fore arm covered so cost increases. Artist Lucky Singh accepts that tattoo designs change fast with the fashion.
