I am Avinash Rawat, a senior journalist and Defence Correspondent with Dainik Bhaskar, India's largest media group, based in the Indore edition. Born into a Typical Bundelkhand Brahmin family on December 23, I have a strong background in journalism and hold the State Level Accreditation from the Madhya Pradesh Government. Beyond my journalistic pursuits, I am a multifaceted individual with diverse
interests and talents. Additionally, I have worked in the lead role of a film called "GOLDEN CALENDAR" and have contributed to five documentaries. My passion for social welfare is evident through my affiliations with various organizations, such as the Indian Society of Criminology, Indian Red Cross Society, and State Bar Council of Madhya Pradesh. I am also an active member of the Civil Defense and Indore Press Club. Over the course of my 16-year journalism career, I have covered a wide range of news across all types of media and social platforms. My expertise lies in conducting in-depth research, pursuing stories, conducting interviews, and engaging in Investigative Journalism. I have a particular interest in Crime Reporting, Defence, and Administrative topics, and I specialize in Sting Operations. Beyond journalism, I have pursued higher education in Criminology & Forensic Science, yoga science, and computer education. I am also a qualified lawyer with an LLB from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. To further enhance my skills in Defence reporting, I completed the Defence Correspondents Course from the Ministry of Defence, enabling me to report on the armed forces with precision and accuracy. My extensive travels across India have given me valuable insights into various issues, and I have conducted more than 400 sting operations, exposing thousands of exclusive stories on development, health, crime, social matters, and more. This has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of both the media landscape and the legal field. Thanks to my strong personal relationships with government officials, politicians, and the elite class, I can be a valuable asset to any esteemed organization. Apart from my professional pursuits, I am actively involved in NCC, NSS, and Scouts, earning recognition and awards for my contributions. In my free time, I indulge in hobbies like playing Volleyball, horse riding, adventure activities, and tracking.
