Dhanamanjuri College of Arts D.M. College of Arts stands for Dhanmanjuri College and the college came into existence in the year 1946.

Initially, the college as the name implies began its journey with arts course alone and it grew up in enrolment and size when science and commerce courses were introduced in the years in the years 1951 and 1954 respectively. Since the college began to grew in size, it was bifurcated into D.M. College of Arts & Commerce and D.M. College of Science and the science college continued its functions in
