​A Homecoming ceremony for 42 cadres of KCP (PWG) was held on 21/07/2026 at HQ IGAR(South), Mantripukhri, Imphal. The 42 cadres laid down arms before the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Manipur Shri Yumnam Khemchand Singh.

​The surrendered weapons include 28 (twenty eight) no. of Arms including 03 (three) no. of AK series, 04 (four) no. of AK-56 rifle, 01(one) no. of INSAS Ex-Calibur, 01(one) no. of SLR, 01(one) no. of 9 mm Carbine, 3 (three) no. of .303 rifles, 1(one) no. of RPG, 2(two) nos. of 9 mm pistol, 1(one) no. of 7.65 mm pistol, 2(two) nos. of double barrel, 9 (nine) nos. of single barrel along with 16(sixteen) magazines, 09 RPG shells, 23 hand grenades, 40 electric detonators, 6 no 27 detonators, 300 blasting caps, 07 IEDs weighing approximately 15 kg, along with 7 (seven) communication devices and 342 (three hundred forty two) ammunitions.

​Under the Revised Scheme for Surrender-cum-Rehabilitation of Militants in the North East State, 2018 of the Government of India, rehabilitation benefits given to the surrendered cadres include a one-time financial grant of Rs.4 lakh to each surrenderee, which is to be kept in a bank, in their names as fixed deposit for a period of 3(three) years, monthly stipend of Rs. 6000/- per cadre for the three year rehabilitation term and also incentives for surrendered weapons.

​The surrenderees will stay in a Rehabilitation Camp for a period of three years during which they are encouraged to take up vocational training in a trade of choice to enable them to earn their livelihoodafterwards.

​Combined efforts of Security Forces including District Police, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, AR and Army are further continuing in this regard.
