Movement of 261 vehicles carrying essential items along NH-37 has been ensured. Strict security measures are taken up in all vulnerable locations and security convoy is provided in sensitive stretches in order to ensure free and safe movement of the vehicles.

A total of 114 Nakas/Checkpoints were installed in different districts of Manipur, both in the hills and the valley, however none was detained by Police at the Nakas/Checkpoints.

Security Forces with the assistance of members of Civil Society Organisation arrested one, Meisnam Geetchandra (38) of Khurai Konsam Leikai, Imphal East district from Khurai Sajor Leikai under Porompat-PS, Imphal East district. From his possession, the following were recovered:
i. 23,304 Tramadol tablets,
ii. 1390 Nitrapal tablets and
iii. 1383 bottles of Bercodex syrup.
