as about 30.000 big and small cable operators. But most of them belong to rural areas. They are running their cable networks in AP. Recent Digitization has seen so many changes in the cable industry. Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam have been chosen for the first and second phased in Andhra Pradesh. Under these circumstances it is very essential to have exhibitions and seminars conducted about the various issues related to the cable industry. After a long gap of six years Hyderabad city has to conduct this mega event. Andhra Pradesh state has witnessed several changes in the cable TV industry. Lots of traditional Coaxial CATV networks have been converted to HFC ( Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) systems. New teachnologies and services have been introduced. In the cable industry. D.T.H (Direct to Home), IPTV (Internet Protocol television) services introduced. At the same time HITS (Head end in the Sky) is on its way to make an entrance in the market. During this crucial period, the cable operators, Mso, s and other industry professionals have many doubts in their minds about the future of Digitization, DTH and IPTV. A number of new laws, new technologies new trends and services also have come up in the Cable TV industry. Most of all cable operators do not know about Digitization and are afraid about their business. Most of the cable operators think they have no option but to leave the business. This event is meant to guide the cable operators in proper way and restore confidence in the cable operators. According to Mr. P Ramu, organizer of the event and CNC group head Cable net communications was established in 1990. It's main aim to bring all under one roof being leaders in the CATV and allied services, CNC group, the organizers of cable net expovision 2014 have long time experience in conducting these events. It had conducted two events before, the first in 2005, the second in 2008 in Hyderabad. This is the third event.
