Two hearts once beat as one,
In love's sweet embrace, we'd begun.
But now, alone I stand,
With a heart that's lost its guiding hand.

Your smile, a memory I hold tight,
Fades like the light, into endless night.
My soul, a canvas of sorrow and pain,
Longing for love that cannot remain.

Tears fall like rain, as I mourn the loss,
Of love that was, and what could never be glossed.
In dreams, I see your face so dear,
But wake to find, you're not here.

If only time could turn back the tide,
Perhaps our love would not have died.
But fate has taken its cruel stride,
Leaving me with a heart full of sighs.😞❣️
