ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಅವಳಿ ನಗರಗಳ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ಶುಭಸುದ್ದಿ. ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಮೈಸೂರಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ವಿಮಾನ ಸೇವೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ನಾನು ಇಂಡಿಗೋ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆ.
ಅದರಂತೆ ಈಗ ಇದೇ ಮೇ 1ರಿಂದ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ 4 ದಿನ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೇ 3ರಿಂದ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ 3 ದಿನ ಮೈಸೂರಿಗೆ ವಿಮಾನ ಹಾರಾಟ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಇದನ್ನು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿಸಿದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ನಾಗರಿಕ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಸಚಿವ ಜ್ಯೋತಿರಾದಿತ್ಯ ಸಿಂಧ್ಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂಡಿಗೋದ ಆಡಳಿತ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.

Good news for Hubballi-Dharwad flyers, I had requested flight connecting Hubballi to Mangalore and Mysore to the management of Indigo
We are going to have 4 days in a week flight to Mangalore from May 1st and 3 days in a week flight to Mysuru from May 3rd.

I thank civil aviation minister shri Jyotiraditya Scindia ji and the management of Indigo for these flights.

1200 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಬ್ಬಳಿಯ ಗಬ್ಬೂರು NH4 ರಸ್ತೆಯಿಂದ ಧಾರವಾಡದ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಬಳಿ ವರೆಗಿನ ಒಟ್ಟು 31.6 ಕಿಮೀ 6 ಪಥದ ಎಕ್ಸ್‍ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ವೇ ಹಾಗೂ 4 ಪಥದ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ￰ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ನವದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ ನವದೆಹಲಿ ಇವರು ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ-ಧಾರವಾಡ ಬೈಪಾಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಇ.ಪಿ.ಸಿ. Engineering, procurement, and construction
ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟೆಂಡರ್ ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಮುಗಿಸಲು 2.5 ವರ್ಷ ನಿಗದಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ನಂತರ 5 ವರ್ಷದ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರೆ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಕರಾರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಟೆಂಡರ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಈಗಿರುವ ಬೈಪಾಸ್‍ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಟೋಲ್ ಪ್ಲಾಜಾಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಟೋಲ್ ಪ್ಲಾಜಾ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಾಡಲು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಟೋಲ್ ಕೆಲಗೇರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನರೆಂದ್ರ ಮದ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಇದರಿಂದ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ –ಧಾರವಾಡ ಮಧ್ಯ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಟೋಲ್ ನಿಂದ ವಿನಾಯಿತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಬೈಪಾಸ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಿಂದ ನಗರ ಮದ್ಯದೊಳಗಿನ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ವಾಹನ ದಟ್ಟಣೆ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಪುಣೆ-ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಆಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಹು-ಧಾ ಬೈಪಾಸ್ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ. 6 ಪಥದ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ವಾಹನ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವ ಚಾಲಕರು ಬೈಪಾಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅದೇ ವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವುದರಿಂದ ಇಂತಹ ಅಪಘಾತಗಳು ಸಂಭವಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂಬುದು ತಜ್ಞರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೈಪಾಸ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 6 ಪಥಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಆಗಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಆಗ್ರಹವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಒಟ್ಟು 1200 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಬ್ಬಳಿಯ ಗಬ್ಬೂರು ಎನ್.ಹೆಚ್. 4 ರಸ್ತೆಯ 402.6 ಕಿಮಿ ಯಿಂದ ಧಾರವಾಡದ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಬಳಿ 433.2 ಕಿಮಿ ವರೆಗಿನ ಒಟ್ಟು 31 ಕಿಮಿ 6 ಪಥದ ಎಕ್ಸ್‍ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ವೇ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಥದ ರಸ್ತೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ 800 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಹಾಗೂ ಭೂ ಸ್ವಾದೀನ ಡಿಪಿಆರ್ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ 400 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರಕಾರ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

ಈ ಬೈಪಾಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನಿತಿನ್ ಗಡ್ಕರಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವಳಿ ನಗರದ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

55 years ago, Karnataka’s first sleeper bus hit the roads :
It was 1966 and Bengaluru was agog with news about a brand-new special sleeper bus service introduced from the city to Hubballi. Hundreds had gathered at the bus depot in Shantinagar to catch a glimpse of the exclusive trailer bus fitted with beds, fans, a radio, a record player and even telephones.
