Mansoor Ahmad Bhat has officially launched his campaign as a candidate for the upcoming elections of the Handwara trade body. Bhat received a warm response from shopkeepers and traders during his outreach efforts.

Speaking to media, Bhat said that many shopkeepers have expressed dissatisfaction with previous trade parties and are hopeful for change. He assured that if elected, he will work for the rights and welfare of shopkeepers, customers, and business owners alike.

“We have received many complaints about how traders’ issues were ignored in the past. I promise transparency and fair representation for everyone,” he said.

He also pledged to stop the practice of diverting customer issues to other markets, saying it was unfair and hurt local businesses.

BJP Leader Shabeer Zargar Urges Union Government to Ensure Safety of Kashmiri Students Across India

Srinagar, April 24 : Shabeer Zargar, Senior BJP Leader North Kashmir and Convenor & Program Incharge, appeals to the Union Government to take immediate steps to ensure the safety of Kashmiri students studying across the country.

It is deeply disturbing to witness a rising trend of harassment, bullying, and physical assault faced by Kashmiri students in several parts of India. Many have been unfairly targeted, beaten, and even forced to vacate their accommodations simply for being Kashmiri. This is not only unacceptable, but it also contradicts the very spirit of our nation—unity in diversity.

What is the difference between those who mercilessly killed innocent people in Pahalgam and those who, under the guise of nationalism, attack innocent students merely based on their identity? Violence in any form, by any group, must be condemned unequivocally.

I request the Hon’ble Home Minister and the concerned authorities to issue strict directives to state governments and educational institutions to protect all students, especially those from Kashmir. Let us not alienate the very youth who are striving to be a part of India's future.

Violence is not patriotism. Let us stand together, in the true spirit of India, he added

This tragic incident has sent shockwaves throughout our community, leaving an indelible mark on the families of the victims. We offer our sincerest condolences and unwavering support to those who have suffered unimaginable loss.

The attack on tourists is a reprehensible assault on humanity, striking at the very heart of Jammu and Kashmir's renowned hospitality and cultural heritage. Such acts of terrorism have no place in our society.

We urge the authorities to launch a swift and thorough investigation, leaving no stone unturned in identifying and apprehending the perpetrators, their accomplices, and abettors.

Furthermore, we emphasize the need for collective action against terrorism. We appeal to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to stand united against forces that seek to disrupt peace and harmony.

As women lawyers, we reaffirm our commitment to upholding justice, human rights, and the rule of law. We pledge to support initiatives that safeguard the well-being and dignity of all citizens and visitors.

Sheikh Mohammad Iqbal Strongly Condemns the Cowardly Terrorist Attack in Baisaran, Pahalgam

Rashtriya Sahayata Sangathan is deeply anguished and outraged by the cowardly and inhumane terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Baisaran, Pahalgam. This brutal act, carried out by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists, is not only an attack on innocent lives but a vile attempt to destabilize the return of peace, normalcy, and development in the Kashmir Valley.

President of Rashtriya Sahayata Sangathan, Sheikh Mohammad Iqbal, has strongly condemned this heinous act of violence. In his statement, he said:

“This attack is a shameful act of desperation by those who cannot tolerate the progress and harmony slowly being restored in Kashmir. The killing of innocent civilians is a crime against humanity, and we stand in unwavering solidarity with the victims and their families during this hour of grief.”

He further added that such crimes will not go unanswered. Under the resolute leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, and his unwavering zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism, our courageous security forces will ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice swiftly and decisively.
