In the cycle of life and death that is part of Nature, wild fires caused destruction everywhere in Raimona National Park. The forest department is constantly fighting with whatever equipments they have to stop from further destruction.

A Review of Visit to Raimona National Park by one of the visitors

We just had the most incredible experience exploring the untamed beauty of Raimona National Park in the breathtaking Bodoland Territorial Region of Assam! This jungle safari was a dream come true for all of us. From the moment we entered the park, we were enchanted by the dense foliage and the diverse wildlife that call this place home.

We embarked on a thrilling jeep safari, cruising through the rugged trails, and it felt like we were on a wild adventure movie set. The excitement was uncontrollable as we spotted majestic Golden Langur, elegant elephants, and exotic bird species.

The sheer vastness of the national park left us in awe. It's a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. We were blown away by the mesmerizing landscapes and picturesque rivers, that surrounded us.

Besides the incredible wildlife, Raimona also offers a chance to immerse yourself in the rich indigenous culture of the Bodo community, that left us captivated and gave us a deeper appreciation for the diversity of our country.

If you're looking for a family adventure like no other, I highly recommend visiting Raimona National Park. It's an experience that will leave you in awe of the wonders of nature and create unforgettable memories with your loved ones.

On the night of Saturday, a herd of elephants from Raimona National Park trampled the paddy fields at Amritpur F.V. and other places. Villagers chased them to the Park.

On another occasion, the 69th was jointly observed by Kachugaon Forest Division of Raimona National Park and Aaranyak at Rupnathpur LP School, Rupnathpur village, under the Central Range of on October 8.

In his opening remarks, Bhanu Sinha, AFS, Divisional Forest Officer of Kachugaon FD elaborated about the importance of the day as well as the aims and objectives of the event.

A drive took place at the school campus. A fun and educational gaming session was also organised which featured a couple of traditional games played among the to promote awareness.

Around 200 people attended the event, including school students, village community leaders, neighbourhood residents, forest personnel, notably Champoo Sinha, Range Officers of Central, Sanfan, Western, and Tramline Ranges, Jashamanik Mashahary, Biswajit Basumatary, Pabitra Das, Tarun Narzary respectively, advocate Rijaul Haque, and Manju Talwar, Inspector, SSB. Dr. Dipankar Lahkar, Senior Conservation Biologist with Aaranyak, and Jashamanik Mashahary jointly coordinated the event.

The event was moderated by Momita Narzary from Aaranyak along with Gayatri Dutta, Biswajit Basumatary, and Bijit Bato from Aaranyak.
