Ram temple at Ayodhya are likely to be completed by January 2024, the government is targeting to complete Ayodhya International Airport by June this year.

How is BharOS different from Android?

Technically, BharOS is not that different from Android’s Google OS. In fact, it is based on the AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The major difference between BharOS and Google’s Android OS is the fact that BharOS does not ship with Google services, and it will be a barebone operating system, which allows users to install apps of their own interest.

While BharOS is known as an indigenous operating system, it is still based on AOSP, hence, it is not that different from Google’s stock Android in terms of features and UI. Not just that, BharOS also doesn’t come with any pre-built applications. Having no pre-installed applications will allow users to sideload an app of their choice. However, sideloading an APK could compromise the device’s security, and could make the device more vulnerable to hacking.

As of now, it is unclear how one can replace a pre-installed OS with BharOS. Does it require bootloader unlocking, which could further compromise the device’s security? On top of that, how long will the operating system receive software and security updates? These are the questions that the developer of the BharOS should answer.

The Royal Moroccan Army has taken delivery of nearly 100 six-wheeled military trucks from India’s Tata Advanced Systems.

In a photo shared by the Indian Defence Research Wing, many LPTA 244 6×6 trucks were getting ready to be exported to Morocco from Port Pipavav off the West Coast of India.

The Moroccan army also confirmed the export on Sunday, saying on Twitter that the vehicles were “on their way to be delivered.”

Rabat - Morocco’s Royal Armed Forces has received a total of 92 six-wheel military trucks manufactured by the Indian aerospace, defense, and military company Tata Advanced Systems, the Indian Defence Research Wing (IDRW) reported.

Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi will soon woo tourists with its luxurious Tent City, built on the banks of the river Ganga.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Tent City in Varanasi

The luxury cruise has three decks, 18 suites on board with luxury amenities, with a capacity of 36 tourists.

The 51-day cruise is planned with visits to 50 tourist spots including world heritage sites, national parks, river ghats, and major cities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (13 January) flagged off the world's longest river cruise, MV Ganga Vilas, which will cover 3,200 kilometers across 27 river systems, in five states, in India and Bangladesh in 51 days.

MV Ganga Vilas is the first-ever cruise vessel to be made in India and it began its journey from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and will reach Dibrugarh in Assam, via Bangladesh.

The beginning of the cruise service on River Ganga is a landmark moment and it will herald a new age of tourism in India, the Prime Minister said and invited foreign tourists to come to India and explore the vibrancy of the country.

Underlining the central role of River Ganga in the life of every Indian, the Prime Minister lamented that the area around the banks lagged behind in development in the post-independence period, thereby, leading to a massive exodus of population from this area.

The Prime Minister elaborated on a twin approach to address this unfortunate situation. On the one hand, the campaign to clean Ganga was undertaken through Namami Gange and ‘Arth Ganga’ was taken up on the other. In ‘Arth Ganga’, steps have been taken to create an environment of economic dynamism in the states from where Ganga passes.

He added that those seeking spirituality will cover destinations like Kashi, Bodh Gaya, Vikramshila, Patna Sahib and Majuli, tourists looking out for a multinational cruise experience will get the opportunity to visit Dhaka in Bangladesh, and those wanting to witness the natural diversity of India will cross through Sundarbans and the forests of Assam.
