CELEBRATION OF THE 76TH INDEPENDENCE DAY AT SREEBADAM SCHOOL PLAYGROUND DAY- 8

Under the direction of Chief Patron Mr Phurba Tsh. Bhutia, President Mahindra Gurung, General Secretary K.K Gurung, and CLC president Mr Suk Hang S***a, Sreebadam Sporting Club has organised an 18-day long 76th Independence day celebration at KB Limboo Senior Secondary School Sreebadam playground to commemorate India's 75th anniversary of independence.

The 8th day of the celebration was graced by Chairman Horticulture, Mr C.K Rana as the chief guest in presence of Zilla Panchayat 18- Suldung Kamling territorial constituency, Mrs Kalawati Tamang and Zilla Panchayat Mangalbaria Takuthang territorial constituency, Mrs Lachimaya Rai as the guest of honour, Gram Panchayats of Suldung Kamling GPU, Mangalbaria Takuthang GPU, Parengoan GPU, Khanisirbong GPU, dignitaries, teachers of Deythang Sec School and KB Limboo Sr. Sec. School, students and gentry.

The day's program started with the lightning of ceremonial lamp and offering of customary khadas.
In his speech, the chief guest thanked and congratulated the organising committee for planning such joyous events. He extends his gratitude to the football players and dancers for entertaining the crowd and showcasing their talents.

The committee's general secretary, Mr Mahindra Gurung presented the momento to the chief guest, Mr. CK Rana.
The momento of honour was also given to Mr. Roshan Gurung, a prosperous businessman from Soreng who established himself in Dubai.

Various traditional dances were performed and awe-inspiring yoga performances were given by the students of KB Limboo Govt. Senior Secondary school.
The prime event of the celebration, men's open football tournament was between Kaluk Police and Mixup boys Sreebadam. The match was won by Kaluk Police with 3-1.
The event ended with Singling Sporting Club winning the match against Bob House Dodak with 5-1 in the second match.

THE 76TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT SREEBADAM SCHOOL PLAYGROUND
DAY 6

Today marked the 6th day of the sub-divisional level 76th independence day, with traditional dances, Zumba dance, and a football match.

The event was graced by CLC President Soreng constituency, Mr Suk Raj S***a in the presence Area Incharge for Rinchenpong, Mr Phurba Tsh. Bhutia, CLC President Rinchenpong, Mr Suk Hang S***a and other dignitaries.

The Chief Guest of the event congratulates the members of Sreebadam Sporting Club for organising the program.

The Area Incharge for Rinchenpong, Mr. PhurbaTsh Bhutia, spoke about the duties and responsibilities of the Indian citizens. "What we as citizens are going to give to a country is crucial when our country is providingsecurity, education, and so many other
benefits", he added.

The CLC President notifies the populace that the Independence Day celebrations currently taking place on August 10 have been moved to August 11 due to Unmukti Diwas.

The first football match was won by IRB Rinchenpong against SBS Soreng with 4-3 in tie breaker.
Likewise, the second match was between United Mangalbaria and Hamro Football Club Khaniserbung.
HFC Khaniserbung won the match against Mangalbaria with 1-0 and enters the quarter final.
