The State women's football team led by Head Coach Mr Kipa Bharat won the Assam Rifles Sentinel cup 2024( North east zonal ) after scoring 2-0 against Assam Rifles Women's football team in the final match at Shillong, Meghalaya.
One Goal each from Giani Ramching Mara & Kai Rumi led the team and clinched the Championship cup.
Jambalu Tayang from Arunachal was awarded Best Goalkeeper of the Championship.
The Championship was organised by The Assam Rifles, the sentinel of the North East.
APFA congratulates the Head Coach Mr Kipa Bharat along with all the players for winning the cup and making the state proud.
