A HOME is a place where we LIVE. Home is what we live for, A shelter over our heads. People are emotionally connected to their homes as they live and create memories.
But during this Lockdown, Restrictions have forced people around the world to adapt to their spaces and exist within the confined four walls.
The whole pattern, how the world use to run has changed. Anyone from any place can work for anyone being in different corners of the world.
Home is no more just a place to sleep. It is a precious escape from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Why still live in chaotic cities and towns, when one can have a better life outside this bustling world.
LIFE is always better at the BEACH. Living in remote locations and leading a normal life is a new opportunity that's been created during this pandemic.
Keeping the elements of A beach, The warmth of the house is achieved through spaces, that draw in senses towards that place. Space is much embracing experiencing with vast views of the surroundings when finished with the true essence of the earth, wood, concrete, and rustic steel. The earthy material blends with nature, As the rammed earth wall, maintains the temperature within the house creating a protective layer for the dwellers
The driveway leading to the house, on the ground level is around a central courtyard and a staircase, leading to the upper levels of the house.
As we enter the first floor, the formal internal spaces for day-to-day activities are located. These spaces are enriched with large see-through walls looking towards the ocean. The double-height space creates an open-air ambiance that uplifts the utilisation.
The second floor comprises of integrated private & workspace that looks out to the surroundings. The rooftop has a lounge and bar counter that oversees the sea.
On the whole, the house is a fusion of both traditional and modern elements.
