The NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) recently released the All India Ranking of Universities and Colleges of India in different categories for the academic year 2025 on 4th September. The NIRF ranking consists of 13 categories, out of which IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is ranked based on 4 categories - Engineering, Research, Management, and Overall. Here is the performance of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad in the NIRF ranking as compared to the previous year's data.

ENGINEERING CATEGORY RANKING:-

IIT(ISM) Dhanbad acquired the 15th position with a score of 65.37 on the NIRF Engineering List.

Compared to the previous year's ranking of 15th position with a score of 64.83, the score increased by 0.54.

RESEARCH CATEGORY RANKING:-

IIT(ISM) Dhanbad secured the 27th position with a score of 54.28 on the NIRF Research List.

Compared to the previous year's ranking of 22nd position with a score of 54.80, the rank dropped by 5 positions, and the score decreased by 0.52.

MANAGEMENT CATEGORY RANKING:-

IIT(ISM) Dhanbad secured the 48th position with a score of 54.34 on the NIRF Management List.

Compared to the previous year's ranking of 46th position and a score of 52.78, the rank dropped by 2 positions, but the score increased by 1.56.

OVERALL RANKING:-

IIT(ISM) Dhanbad has achieved the 35th position with a score of 58.33 on the NIRF Overall Ranking List.

Compared to the previous year's ranking of 35th with a score of 56.97, the score increased by 1.36, while the rank remained unchanged.
