An awareness program on girl hygiene and health was conducted on 31st January in Guru Harkrishan Public School,Dera Bassi by Dr Jasmine ,a gynecologist of civil hospital, to enhance the knowledge regarding hygiene and health among girls, apart from this she also advised all girls to take care of their health by doing physical exercises, eating healthy food and avoiding junk food, School Principal Kavita Atri thanked Dr.Jasmine for sparing some time from her busy schedule in sensitizing the girls of her school.The program ended after the queries being answered by the doctor.

देश भूला बैठा है जिन्हें, ऐसे चार पुत्रों के महादानी को

देश धर्म के लिए जिसने अपना सब कुछ वार दिया
आह! तक न की जिसने खुशी खुशी सब न्यौछार दिया

धर्म देश की खातिर दो छोटे पुत्र ईंटों की नींवो में शहीद हुए
बड़े दोनों सूत चमकौर के युध्द में वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए

चारों सपूत धर्म ईमान से न डिगे मुगलों के अत्याचारों से
रच गये जो इतिहास बाल उम्र में साहिबज़ादे अपने स्वाभिमानी विचारों से

कौन करेगा मुकाबला इन अमर बलिदानों का,
इतिहास रचने वाले इक परिवार के महानों का।

दशमेश कितनी सहजता से उच्चार गए
इन पुत्रन के शीश पर वार दिये सूत चार
चार मुये तो क्या हुआ जीवत कई हजार।

ANNUAL FUNCTION DAY CELEBRATION 🎊 🎊
Guru Harkrishan public school celebrated it’s Annual Day 2023- 2024 for the Primary wing. The school believes in taking time to recognize and celebrate its successes, no matter how large or small. The program begins with the guests being welcomed, followed by the school coir. The festivities continued with a heart-stirring Welcome dance. Principal Mrs.Kavita Atri extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and presented the Annual Report. It highlights the school’s achievements throughout the academic year and recognizes students who excel in various scholastic and co-scholastic activities. The students’ beautifully presented dance and skit which demonstrated how gratitude plays an important role in one’s life. Students put on a variety of performances. The overall show demonstrated the coordination and cooperation of students and faculty members, which brings honor to the school. The show held the audience in awe and left them enchanted as the show culminated.

School principal Mrs. Kavita Atri said that
the school ensures that all students participate because each child is unique and important to us, and we believe that every child should be given the opportunity to develop talents, showcase talents, and harness their skills and attributes through such public performances. Overall, the goal of having an annual day at school is to create a harmonious connection between parents and the school and their children, as well as to allow them to appreciate and enjoy their child’s talent.
Participation in the annual day function aids in the development of social skills and emotional intelligence. As students collaborate with their peers for various events, they learn to communicate effectively, understand different perspectives, resolve conflicts, and build stronger bonds.
