AI-powered companion robots have the potential to alleviate feelings of loneliness in older adults. These will not only provide companionship & engage in conversation, but even assist with daily tasks. By offering emotional support, entertainment, and social interaction, they will also help combat the isolation and loneliness often experienced by older adults. While they cannot replace human companionship, they will complement it and enhance overall well-being. However, it's important to ensure that the use of such humanoids is balanced with human interaction to maintain a holistic approach to addressing loneliness in older adults.

AI is playing a significant role in brain-spine interfaces by enhancing their functionality and usability.
1. Signal processing: It process and interpret neural signals recorded from the brain or spinal cord, enabling the translation of these signals into meaningful commands or actions.
2. Machine learning: AI analyse patterns in neural data to recognize specific intentions or movements. And learn to predict and interpret neural signals more accurately.
3. Adaptive control: Algorithms can continuously adapt and optimize the control signals based on real-time feedback from the user and the environment. This adaptive control enables brain-spine interfaces to adjust to individual users' needs.
4. Data fusion: It integrate information from multiple sensors and modalities, such as neural recordings, electromyography, and proprioceptive feedback, to create a more comprehensive understanding of the user's intentions and movements. This fusion of data enhances the accuracy and robustness of brain-spine interfaces.

This amazing "stingray" robot, named "Velox", is both a drone and a generator that goes on surveillance missions by land and by sea using its undulating "fins", Velox is able to swim like a stingray, crawl like a millipede, jet like a millipede, jet like a squid, and slide like a snake. Velox is perfect for surf Zone, amphibious beach missions, ice- rescues or polar ice missions. For Examples, it can tow a rope and lifebuoy to a victim who has fallen through thin ice. A meaningful invention by research company Pliant Energy Systems LLC.
