In our previous reel, we discussed scaling strategies, but now it's time to dive deeper into when to scale and when to stop your Facebook ads!
Stop or scale your ads with the Three Day Cap Rule!
The cap stands for:
C - Click
A - Add to cart
P - Purchase
Let's break it down:
Day 1: C (Click) - If no click, stop the ad.
Day 2: A (Add to cart) - If no add to cart, stop the ad.
Day 3: P (Purchase) - If no purchase, reapply the cap rule.
So, what do we do? We apply this rule to our ad set. If it doesn't meet the criteria, we stop it.
So, let's understand, if on Day 1, there's no click, we stop, If on Day 2, add to cart doesn't happen, we stop. And if on Day 3, purchase doesn't happen, we stop, okay?
And we Re-apply the Cap Rule.
Let's take an example. On Day 1, we got a click, that's good. On Day 2, we got an add-to-cart, which is more than one, that's great. On Day 3, we got a purchase, that's even better. We got a purchase on Day 3, which is great. We spent another 24 hours and got another purchase, that's even better. Which means we got at least one purchase every day for three days. That's great!
If we don't get a purchase on Day 3, we will stop the ad. But if we get a purchase, we will scale it up. We will wait for three days and if we get at least one purchase every day, then we will scale it up. ✅✅✅
Let's take a few more examples:
💥 On Day 1, we didn't get a click, which means we didn't get any visitors. We spent 500pkr, but we didn't get any visitors. That's a problem! ❌
💥 On Day 1, we got a click; on Day 2, we got an add-to-cart, but we didn't get a purchase. That's a problem! ❌
💥 On Day 1, we got a purchase, which is great! But if we don't get a purchase on the next day, we will stop the ad.
💥 On Day 1, we got a click, and on Day 2, we got an add-to-cart, and on Day 3, we got a purchase. That's great! But if we don't get a purchase on Day 4, we will stop the ad

Aggressive Scaling:

Important Rules:
If you're in profit within 24 hours, increase the budget by 20% again
If you're breaking even, keep the budget the same
If you're at a loss, reduce the budget by 20%
DAAI (Duplicate And Ad Interest) Strategy:
Duplicate a profitable ad set and replace its interest
Example: If "food and drinks" is performing well, try "food and restaurants" next
When to Scale?
If your ad is profitable from the start or you're experienced and know it has potential
