Chapter 6: Corn reborn

She moved abroad🥹
Well, I don’t know where to start.
All I can say is as someone who wants to experience all kinds of life, I loved being on the road, with nothing smoothly planned out and life taking me wherever it could.
I’ve learnt a lotttttt but somewhere I always thought maybe there’s more to what I want to experience.
I always liked to travel slow even slower than turtles. I lived in Bali for a month, weeks in Thailand, 1 year in Himachal ( the list is long) and did everything I wanted: worked as a trek leader, moved to the mountains, earned through what I love ( photography), met some of my fav people on the road, eat all kinds of food, started my own lil agency, worked a 9-5 because I wanted to try, tried writing a book, started mission daisy ahhh when I look back I am not at all guilty of anything because whatever I did, I gave my best so I don’t regret ohh I wish I had tried.

Just like that, I wanted to try living independently and with actual freedom to be myself. To just start fresh again, and doing all of it in another country is kind of an adventure I believe because goshhh it’s gonna be chaotic, messy but I know beautiful too. And yes, I did miss out enjoying my college life so I owe this to myself. I am not the kind of person to miss out on things I absolutely want. I’ve been pretty clear about what I like and what I don’t so this might be a choice I made to push myself out of my comfort zone.

Pa: No I did not leave India, think of this like another trip just a longgggg one. I’ll be back in a couple of years ( of atleast keep visiting)

Can’t believe this was my first proper visit to Nepal despite it being 2 hours away from my hometown 😭

Stayed at and will always be thankful for the warm hospitality 🫶
We got lucky with it seriously ( not even a paid collab)
The best part is it’s location, just away from the road but walking distance to the Lake side 🫶
Highly recommend for a cozy budget friendly stay in Pokhara, Nepal

Nepal dump 1 ft Pokhara 🥹🫶

1) Sunlight in my eyes, sunshine in my ____ ( fill in the blanks ☺️)

2) Finally wore this shirt I bought in Vietnam ( it’s from a local store as always because your girlie is a thrift girl)

3) Had breakfast at Perky beans cafe ( after great research I found a cafe that serves amazing breakfast but but but in a budget and good quantity) 10/10 recommended

4) Went for a post breakfast stroll by the lake side, shot some reels for you all :)

5) Got tired & dehydrated so came to this smaller shop/ cafe for lemonade and watching this giant wheel EVERYTIME feels nostalgic

6) So, Took some pictures with it hihi

7) I’ve become crazy about water lately so when I saw this I knew I had to take it. Also, it’s just 40 rs🥹

8) Sat at this small cafe till it got dark to watch the sunset 🥹🫶

If you ever ask me a country where I would wanna shift to ( except India) a country I can keep going back to back without being bored and I know it will stay with me forever because it genuinely has the perfect blend of all the things I like.
You know the answer, right?
Thailand.

Alot of people like it for different reasons but for me it’s like a little dream come true. It is sooo beautiful, still unexplored in many areas but has a friendly, vibrant and lively culture, yummiest food, the rent is not as expensive as Canada, US etc, the fashion is affordableand just the kind I like and idk if you all remember but I’m huge on Kpop and Thai pop and in comparison to S Korea racism isn’t that big here for us. Quite a lot of like minded people who openly accept Lgbtq community and aren’t homophobic and also lol so many Indians around that it feels familiar too.

I wish I realised it earlier and moved here🥹 maybe someday in the future.

I really wanna stay in different parts of the world instead of just hopping.

Ps: Found this Cafe called Efe Chinese restaurant in Old Phuket town which has all the aesthetics that I like- Forest, Dark academia with all things vintage and green and I was in loveeee with these pictures until I realised that I left this pair of trousers and shirt in Phuket 😭😭 Legit wore it just once yarrrr.
Why am I this careless.
Bought it from Sarojini so idk if I’ll get the same fit ever again because these pants were the perfect fit and the shirt was just the right lenght plus I got it just for 100 Rs each.
Yup!!

There are obviously bigger problems but felt like cribbing here today.

The cafe was a hit tho !🙈❤️

Fall(ing) for Kashmir 🥹
It’s something very close to my heart and I’ve been planning this for legit months but somehow we’re posting it almost at the end of Fall.

But better late than never na?

Falling for Kashmir is a mini film style vlogs but it’s like a step ahead to my dreams that I’ve been pushing for too long now. It’s to challenge my inner creative and actually use my brain instead of what’s working ( nothing is working well for me anyway on insta)

The irony is I got this push of making what I like after I got restricted by instagram ( idk how long it’s gonna be) but yeah it’s like kch nahi to kch sahi.

Somedays,
I sit and think how my life would be without social media?
How empowering would It be to just be?

Visiting different corners of the worlds, without telling anyone.
Enjoying strange food with that spark of adventure again without having to ‘ oh let me shoot it’

It would be fun, right?
But then I remember that recording those silly little moments is how I get to do this in the first place 🫣 so I should just be grateful and find a balance.
