JAMUN is a collective of co-conspirators, an ensemble of visual storytellers who strive to create brilliant images of concepts and ideas. Jamun was born as a collective in 2011, but we have been creators for years before that. We look at life around us as a tangled web of intertwined tales, and try to tell these stories in beautiful ways. We are DIGITAL filmmakers, exploring and embrac
ing new tools of creation that technology is empowering us with, while preserving the romance of film making. Jamun believes in the collaborative spirit of film making, and is driven by inter-disciplinarian thought. Creating unique visual narratives for inspiring concepts and people drives us, and we see every project as an opportunity to create something extraordinary. We experiment with film styles and techniques in order to give each film the most suitable treatment. Our body of work is diverse, including socially engaged advocacy campaigns, music videos, brand films and advertising, and we are keen to explore other forms. OUR VISION:
We are obsessed with finding the truth in the story or brief so that we can align our creative tools and energies to building a film that is honest and works for the client as well for our aesthetics. In our years together have, a distinctive style has emerged that is fluid, beautiful and subtle, which is constantly evolving and adapting itself to the project at hand. We’ve learnt to focus on the central message of a story, and mould a captivating narrative around it, to make the films engaging and lingeringly memorable. Our understanding of the internet and social media space as it is today has taught us to be honest, empathetic and to appeal to the mind and the gut at the same time.
