The Mumbai Police, today, have nabbed a suspect who was allegedly involved in the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. As per a news report in The Indian Express, the suspect was brought to Bandra police station on Friday morning for questioning regarding the case which shook the entire of Bollywood.

For the unversed, Saif Ali Khan was reportedly stabbed six times inside his Bandra home, an incident that took place during an attempted burglary. Besides Saif, reports state that, a staff member was also injured. It was Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim who immediately rushed him to the Lilavati Hospital.

Imtiaz Ali, the celebrated filmmaker behind Tamasha and Chamkila, has teamed up with his brother Sajid Ali for a new romantic drama series, O Saathi Rey, set to stream on a leading OTT platform. The series will feature Arjun Rampal and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles, marking their first collaboration.

Sajid Ali, best known for directing Laila Majnu (2018), will helm the series, while Imtiaz Ali will serve as the writer and showrunner. The duo’s previous project, Laila Majnu, saw a resurgence in popularity with its re-release last year, earning cult status among romance enthusiasts.

Produced under Imtiaz’s banner, Window Seat Films, O Saathi Rey is expected to be a soulful, emotionally charged love story with the filmmaker’s signature storytelling style.

With Arjun Rampal and Aditi Rao Hydari at the forefront, fans can expect a compelling narrative, nuanced performances, and a refreshing take on love and relationships. The series is currently in pre-production and is anticipated to release later this year.
