Rivista got instituted as a society with the materializing and maturing of an idea to bring together like-minded individuals to start a process of media and journalism in the Hindu College. Within a timespan of a year the society was successful in putting a huge number of things in play, however enormous amount of work and task awaits. The society was successful in publishing its first edition of
its newsletter titled “Campus Collegiate”, an exclusive newsletter covering news and happenings solely of the Hindu College campus. The production team of Rivista took part in Indian Film Project 2015, Asia’s largest film-making challenge, and film shot by the team was ranked 56th out of 659 films. The production team also earned 2nd position in IIT Delhi’s annual fest Rendezvous’ short film making competition. In the recent past the Rivista was associated with the iconic Mecca, Hindu College’s annual cultural fest as the photography and media coverage partner. The second edition of “Campus Collegiate was also published on the sidelines of Mecca, the cultural extravaganza that was held on March this year. In addition to this as a media society Rivista has covered Medina, Ibtida’s annual theatre festival 2016 as photography and media partners and has also covered events of Aria, the Western Music society of Hindu College, annual fest of the North East Cell of Hindu college and Hindu Earth Summit, an event of our environmental society- Panchtatva. Rivista has been able to spread its wings even outside the premises of the Hindu College. Rivista was the media coverage partner for Mosaic, Ramjas College’s annual cultural fest 2016. The society is looking forward to new ways through which a comprehensive and all-inclusive platform for media and journalism can be established for the benefit of young students and the nation at large. We look forward to all kinds of suggestions and opinions.
