गधे और धोबी की कहानी

एक निर्धन धोबी था। उसके पास एक गधा था। गधा काफी कमजोर था क्योंकि उसे बहुत कम खाने-पीने को दिया जाता था। एक दिन , धोबी को एक मरा हुआ बाघ मिला। धोबी ने सोचा की , मैं गधे के ऊपर इस बाघ की खाल को डाल दूँ और इस गधे को पड़ोसियों के खेत में चरने के लिए छोड़ दूँ।

गधे को देखकर किसान समझेंगे की यह एक सचमुच का बाघ है। इससे डरकर दूर रहेंगे और गधा आराम से सारा खेत चर लेगा। धोबी ने यह योजना बनाकर तुरंत इस योजना पर काम किया।

एक रात की बात है की गधा खेत चर रहा था। तभी गधे को किसी गधी की रेंकने की आवाज सुनाई दी। इस आवाज को सुनकर गधा इतने जोश में आ गया की वह जोर-जोर से रेंकने लगा। गधे के चिल्लाने से गांव वालों गधे की असलियत का पता चल गया। और लोगों ने गधे की खूब पिटाई कर दी।
