The aims and objectives include cultivating respect, tolerance, and empathy, and developing skills to handle conflicts non-violently. The distinction between individual peace (inner peace) and social peace (societal harmony) is explored, with a focus on the difference between positive peace (the presence of justice, equality, and opportunities for growth) and negative peace (the absence of violence or war). The philosophical, social, and psychological foundations of peace. It discusses how peace is informed by different schools of thought and how individual mindsets and societal structures can either promote or hinder peace.
