Lost in pages, where the library fades away and imagination takes flight.

Have you ever been to a Library or book store.
I’ve been and trust me every time you visit you feel more small and little. The knowledge and wisdom that is trapped inside it makes us think if we are really as smart as we credit ourself.

Are we really capable to hold that plethora of wisdom.
But amidst all these one though struck me

-“ May be we are not meant to know all but we are meant to know some bits. Share our bit of knowledge and learn bit form other. ”

It’s the way of life give and take, and be humble to the fact that we are above none but at least together.

Ending my thoughts with this.

Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)
For trek details visit earlier post or DM.

We hiked to one of the most famous trek in Nepal, ABC.
The trek took 5 days to complete Pokhra -> ABC -> Pokhra.
It was one of the most amazing trek with new surprise in every new turn and corner of the trail.
The scenic beauty is out of world, the canopy a perfect art.
The blend of nature, people and culture just mesmerising.

The journey is as beautiful as the destination, and food it’s just yummy.
cant wait to hike to ABC again.

My client challenged herself with the Sandakphu trek.
It is in Darjeeling, India, aka “Queen of Hills”. The trail and destination are just out of the world. She had taken this beautiful picture and asked me If I could add something and make it more meaningful and beautiful.

🟥 Annapurna Base Camp Trek, 5 days trek
🟦 Day 4 of the Trek
📍Deurali -> MBC -> ABC

In the cold pristine wind, surrounded by golden peaks, my heart wants to just freeze along with time.

9:30 AM, we started our trek. MBC was our first major stop and further 2.5KM away was our finall destination ABC.

At 11:40 AM, we reached Machhapuchhare Base Camp (MBC 3700 Mt). The view of FishTail mountain was just majestic. We refilled our water supply, basked sun and just meditated in the presence of divine mountain.
There are very few stays in MBC.

After crossing MBC, we were exhausted because of uphill trek and higher altitude, so we took a snack break. We had saved our share of egg from out Deurali breakfast.

The sun peeks over the mountaintops, painting the sky in hues of gold and pink. A new day dawns in the mountains, and with it, a sense of endless possibility.

There was a beautiful lake just before reaching the ABC. From MBC to ABC the trail was quite easy and beautiful. As we appraoched ABC my heart felt heavy as the trek was coming to end, but it is inevitable.

Finally we reached the ABC, as it goes “Jounrey is as/more important than the Destination”. I enjoyed the trek and thank everyone for making it succesfull and helping me during Altitude Sickness.

🟥 Annapurna Base Camp Trek, 5 days trek
🟦 Day 3 of the Trek
📍Sinuwa -> Deurali

8:04 am, Embarking on an uphill odyssey, we set off early on Day 3. Our 1st stop was Bamboo

Descending a thousand steps led us to Bamboo (2310 mt) at 9:44 AM. The trail, a testament to our resilient knees, unveiled breathtaking vistas. Next, stop at Upper Dovan, 1 hr walk from Bamboo.

At 10:15 AM we crossed Lower Dovan, arriving at Upper Dovan (2600 mt) at 11:05 AM. Renowned for its exquisite homestays.

Graced by clear sky and great weather, we captured these mesmerizing shots en route to Deurali.

We walked another 2hr uphill trek to Himalaya, enveloped by the cool embrace of the forest. On the way we encountered the most sacred & beautiful waterfall of the entire trek.

This revered waterfall, known as "Himalaya Waterfall" to tourists and "Tomrong Waterfall" to locals, is adorned with a newly constructed temple, a testament to its deep-rooted significance as the abode of their deity. The view is simply breathtaking.

Finally, we reached Himalaya (2900 mt) for lunch at 12:46 PM. This idyllic spot, basking under the sun's warm embrace, welcomed travelers from all corners of the globe to enjoy the panoramic vistas & savor a delectable meal. From Himalaya to Deurali was a 4:30-hour uphill trek.

At 3:10 PM, we stumbled upon the Hinku Cave, a magnificent natural formation offering a glimpse of Deurali. one more hour before reaching Deurali.

At 4:02 PM, we reached Deurali, 3200 mt. Despite the chilly air, the sunset was enchanting, though light pollution hindered our stargazing plans.

Day 2: ABC Trek Continue.

After refilling water in Kimrung, we faced the most challenging uphill climb of the entire ABC trek, lasting 2-3 exhausting hours. Our emergency supplies, Snickers and makai, became essential.

Despite the challenging trail, we couldn't resist capturing the majestic views and fell in love with nature.

Climbing up, the first sight of houses in Chomrong brought immense relief.

By 2 pm, we reached Panorama Point Lodge in Chomrong, where the owner booked rooms for us in Deurali and ABC. A delightful lunch with complementary juice preceded the final journey to Upper Sinuwa after a brief rest.

The descent from Chomrong to Lower Sinuwa was a bit relaxed. Mandatory check-ins provided advice, rules, and regulations. We encountered a beautiful Buddhist Temple and planned to visit on our return.

Reaching Lower Sinuwa, we started uphill again for Upper Sinuwa. Although we passed many lodges, having booked a room in Upper Sinuwa, we moved forward.

By 5 pm, darkness set in, and our exhaustion was palpable. The steep uphill climb to Upper Sinuwa was relaxing once we spotted our lodge, although a few hundred steps remained.

Our time in Upper Sinuwa at "Sinuwa Lodge & Restaurant" was delightful. The owner, a sweet lady, had an assistant named Krishna, was very sweet and innocent. Remarkably, this lodge was the only one providing free hot water.

The next morning an awesome view, witnessing the golden mountain during sunrise. After a silent communion with nature, we had breakfast and bid farewell to Sinuwa, moving ahead to Dewrali, our next stop. Stay tuned for more adventures...

Day2: ABC (Gandruk to Sinuwa)

We got up early morning to witness the mesmerizing sunrise from Gandruk. The Sun rays painting the mountain in Golden the view was just AWESOME.

We had a chance to take some cool photos of the mountain during sunrise from the Asish Ama Homestay.

Photo 4:
Before starting the trek we had a delicious breakfast. It was my first time tasting Gurung bread with some local pulses and it was yummy. For extra boost, we had a boiled egg.

Before Leaving Gandruk we requested the owner of the Homestay Sister Jeena to take a photo with us along with her sisters who were helping her run the homestay.

The journey was very long so we had multiple rest/checkpoints,
1. Komrong Danda,
2. Kimrung Village,
3. Chomrong,
4. Lower Sinuwa and then finally
5. Upper Sinuwa.

We left Gandruk and headed towards Komrong Danda our first Halt.

Photo 7:
We crossed a small bridge and came across a beautiful stream. We then landed on a junction and a stone helped us with direction.

We hiked for about 30 minutes until we had the first sight of Komrong Dada. After reaching Komrong we refilled water took some rest and photos and headed downhill.

We climbed downhill for about 45 minutes and then reached a Trout Fish Farm which directed us towards Chomrong. We crossed another bridge and then reached Kimrung.

After reaching Kimrung we refilled our water supply took some rest and climbed uphill for our second halt Chomrong.
