The section of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 that deals with drunk driving is Section 185:
Punishment
The punishment for a first offense of driving under the influence is a fine of up to ₹2,000 and/or imprisonment for up to six months. For a second or subsequent offense within three years, the punishment is a fine of up to ₹3,000 and/or imprisonment for up to two years.

Punishment
A person who marries again while their spouse is still alive can be imprisoned for up to seven years and fined.
Exceptions
There are exceptions to this punishment if:
The previous marriage was legally declared void
The previous spouse was absent and unreported for seven years
Concealment
If the person who marries again concealed the fact of their previous marriage, they can be imprisoned for up to ten years and fined.

The offense is bailable, which means the accused can easily get bail from the court.
The offense is not compoundable, which means the victim and the accused cannot reach a settlement.
