Stay ahead in Competition- Sainik- RMS- RIMC Entrance Exam Preparation kit
Why majority of People fail to make a grade in a competitive examination?
No one talks about the loser, it is only the winner that steals the lime light
School Entrance Examination would be the first competition that a child would face in his academic enhancement.
Seats are limited no of aspirants are more- the result tougher competition- Only the best gets selected
The best candidates are trained and not born
The way a child is trained depends on three factors:-
His or her way of grasp of the subject being taught
a) Audio learning Most of the school does this
b) Audio + Visual learning some schools do
c) Audio + Visual + Practical learning, very few do this
The learner (student) has his /her own way of learning via any one of the methods. We adopt the last method, ie, Audio + Visual + Practical learning

In practice there are three types of questions, which require a clear basic concept and some higher order of thinking.

The difference in a competitive exam lies here.
They want :-

a) SPEED in performance
b) Accuracy (Correct Answers)

An ordinary book would give basic concept based questions

These are not sufficient for a competitive examination
Our books have Application and Skill based questions in addition to concepts

What is basic questions?

a) What is the product of 6 and 9?
b) Application based question. What would be the cost of 1/2 dozen mangoes if two mangoes cost Rs.9?
c) Skill based question. A class had certain number of students , which was three times the smallest even prime number. If half the total number of students joined this group, then it would become equal to the greatest single digit number. How many students were there originaly in the class?

As you can see from the above example, only a student with a high IQ can solve all the three problems that too with in 3 minutes

The student who scores 100 % is the winner
The difficulty would become more if you add negative marks to these questions

So folks, it is only those who practice well reqularly stands a chance to qualify

IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED TO SEE THAT YOUR CHILD QUALIFIES THEN ORDER FOR OUR SKILL BUILDER GUIDES TO-DAY

7 The least common multiple (LCM)
8 LCM= 120.
9 one number that lies within the given range is 77.
10 1683
Solution: LCM of the give numbers = 840
Let the required number be 840x +3, which is a multiple of 9 ( Given)
Smallest value of x is 2. Hence the required number would be 840 x 2 +3 = 1683
11 6x 3 = Rs.18
12 92 x 6 = 542 km
13 55o kg
14 A and B can finish the work in 6 days if they work together.
15 -56
16 +23
17 -40
18 8 x (-15)+8 x 6 = 8 x ({(-15) +6} Because ( axb + a x c = a c ( b+c)} = 8 x (-9) = -72
19 Suppose he sees x pencils
Total gain on pens = Rs.45
Total loss on pencils= Rs. 40x / 100 = 2x/5
Therefore45 -2x/5 = -5
Ie. 2x/5 =( 45+5)
Ie 2x/5 = 50
Ie. x = (50x5)/ 2 = 125
Hence, the number of pencils sold is 125
20 17/36
21 9 ¼ kg
22 1/7
23 3 1/6
24 6 1/12
25 13.5 km
26 2kg 770 grams
27 0.14946
28 Hence the cost of 9.8 m of ribbon is = Rs. 350.84
29 21.4 runs
30 Hence, 261.36 . 17.6 = 14.85 answer
31 60.5 km/h
32 Rs. 32.65
33 35
34 64
35 Rs. 72.40
36 2.68
37 6
38 1 : 3
39 17 : 20
40 25: 3
41 2 :5 answer
42 Amit's share= Rs. ( 840 x 51/2) = Rs. 350, Tavy's share = Rs.( 840 x 7/12) = Rs. 490
43 Hence 2 : 3 : 4 = Rs. 300 : Rs. 450 : Rs. 600 Answer
44 A :C= (9: 20)
45 6:4:3
