Sharing benefits of my today’s snack:

🥜 Eating jaggery and groundnut in cold weather are beneficial.

🥜 Selenium in groundnut, magnesium and iron in jaggery, removes fertility related problems and makes muscles stronger.

🥜 Plenty of iron in the jaggery which protects against anemia.

🥜 Plenty of fiber is found in groundnut.

🥜 Jaggery contains elements of potassium, magnesium, zinc, and iron, which remove stomach related diseases and improve digestion.

🥜 Calcium found in peanuts provides strength to the bones.

The drawing is beginning to fade and the paper has had some wear and tear already, but posting it here to make a digital record of the cute conversation that happened with L about this drawing.

L: Mummy, look what I have drawn.

Me: Woooow! That’s a lovely rainbow !

L: Mummy, that’s a mountain.

Me: Oh!

L: (points at the stick figures he has drawn at the top) Mummy, guess which is you.

Me: Hmmm.. (points at one)

L: Noooo mummy, that is 40, that is Dadda, not you. You are 38!!

Only then did I notice the numbers next to the figures, our age 😬

Our age was discussed almost couple of weeks earlier when we were talking about birthdays and how old each one of us will be turning. I was surprised and emotional at the kind of conversations they remember and keep close to their hearts 🥹♥️

Last Sunday, I underwent IFT due to neck and shoulder pain that became severe over the past 3-4 days.

“Trapezitis”, Doctor Said. (Swipe to see what Google says about it).

This is the 3rd time it is recurring the past 3 years (Pic 3 clicked last year). Blame me for not doing my Physio exercises regularly. 😔

Being a Sunday, there were only few patients and there was a couple from the IT industry who were being advised on sitting posture while at work, driving to work, etc.

Nature of work is an important factor doctors take into account while diagnosing a patient’s complaint. Either too much work (in the wrong posture) or also too little (physical) work could be the reason.

🪑Slouching while sitting,
📱Scrolling phones too much,
🧍‍♀️Hunching our backs while standing,
🎒students carrying heavy school bags,
🏍️ Delivery executives/ medical rep’s bags sliding to one side on their bikes,
📞long hours on phone, etc could be the physical reasons.

But also, built up stress,
👧🏻childhood trauma,
🫁incorrect breathing could be some factors the Doc said!

How much time and money we spend to look good, but being least bothered about how we feel and how well we take care of our body leads to such warning signs. If we ignore them, only GOD can save us 🙄
