I recently traveled from Belgaum, which is 2,500 feet above sea level, to Ladakh. Since Leh is at 11,500 feet above sea level, acclimatization was necessary, and I stayed there for 2 days to adjust. Prepaid SIM cards don’t work in the region, so it's best to get a postpaid SIM in Belgaum or purchase one upon arrival in Leh. The weather was cold, so warm clothing was essential. During my stay, I explored the beautiful Jamia Masjid, which is uniquely built using Akharot (walnut) wood, adding to its architectural appeal
