Serving a Mother is Serving God:

Today, our Facebook Friends Circle Team had the privilege of helping two elderly women, Parvati R. Bagade (aged 95) and her daughter Shanta Bagade (aged 60). Parvati, a grandmother, has been bedridden for the last 40+ days and is unable to care for herself. She is also unable to eat food on her own.

Shanta, her daughter, previously worked in a small saree manufacturing unit, but due to her mother’s illness, she can no longer continue her work as she needs to be by her mother’s side full-time.

We learned from their neighbors that they are currently struggling to meet their basic needs. They have no funds to buy groceries or afford the necessary medical expenses for Parvati. The family lives in a small room at Hno 215, Sambhaji Nagar, Vadgaon, Belgaum, and due to their financial difficulties, they have been unable to pay their rent for the past four months. They also do not have any male family members to provide assistance, and unfortunately, their children have left the household, as informed by Shanta Aunty.

Our Facebook Friends Circle Team—Santosh Darekar, Avadhut Tudavekar, Smt. Meena Beneke (founder of Angel Foundation), Om Anavekar, Sohum Anavekar, Smt. Arati Shailesh Subedhar, Smt. Shalini Sankroni, Shrinath, Jamyang Wangyal, Dileep Asopa, and Ajit Keshavrao Kulkarni—has stepped in to help by providing groceries sufficient for at least four months, as well as necessary medicines and financial aid. We will continue to support them as much as possible. We had also assisted them last month.

We thank all our friends for their kind support. The family and neighbors have expressed their gratitude and blessed us for our assistance.
