9. Focus on Fewer, Hard-Earned Links - It's much better to have multiple links from several niche authority sites than hundreds of single links from second-rate sites.
10. Consider Secure Encryption - A few weeks ago Google officially announced that HTTPS would now become a ranking signal, meaning that websites using secure encryption may get a certain boost in Google rankings. HTTPS is a secure method of exchanging information across the Web that uses several extra means to protect the transferred data. For now, Google says, HTTPS is a "lightweight signal," but it may become stronger over time.
11. Long-tail Keywords - Long-tail keywords are more conversational in structure, they include full phrases like “how do you…” and “where to find…” along with specific items and actions.
12. LSI Keywords - Latent semantic indexing, or LSI, takes various forms of certain words and related terms into account. It allows Google to understand how certain keywords are related to one another so that if a user searches for “apple” as mentioned above, the search engine crawler can find words like “fruit,” red” and other related terms and link them all together to provide the right results.
