Do you enjoy reading?
If yes, a reading corner in your house is a must.

While you do not require a dedicated reading space to read, having one is a great benefit for you and your family.
Because having a reading space increases your chances of reading more books and enjoying reading even more, and also It can inspire your family members to begin their reading journey.

If you want your children to enjoy reading, setting up a reading corner for them will encourage them to do so. Having a reading corner can also be a fun place to spend time with your kids as you read stories to them.

What do you need to create a reading space?

1. First of all, a comfortable reading chair You can have a single or a double-seater sofa based on your comfort and space. If you need more seating but have limited space, consider adding a nice ottoman or pouf.

2. If you have a lot of books and you want to display or store them in one place, then it would be better to add an open book shelf to showcase books or a book cabinet to store the books.

3. Then add a floor lamp or a table lamp as per your convenience. Try to keep a brightly lit lamp because, since it is a reading space, the light should be brighter to keep us focused.

4. Then add a comfortable rug. It keeps you warm while also adding character to the space.

5. If you want to go the extra mile to style the space more, add some art work, wall frames, or wall hangings on the walls.

6. Finally, finish styling the space with your favorite plants. You can add a large plant or keep small plants here and there.

In our homes, the balcony is a space for a variety of activities. Sipping a cup of coffee while admiring the view, using it as a conversation area with family and friends, or having a candlelight dinner. Making balconies into comfortable and cozy spaces is a simple and inexpensive task. All you have to do is

1. Add some cushions and rugs that you already have or can buy for a reasonable price online.

2. Add plants as well, particularly flowering plants. Plants make any space attractive and provide visual pleasure for our eyes.

3. Finally, don't forget to add some fairy lights. Fairy lights not only brighten up the space but also add charm.

My Tea/Coffee time story ☕️

I know that there are many people who love to start their day with a cup of coffee or tea, and I'm one of them. I have very fond memories of coffee, as my grandmother belongs to the Rayalaseema region (a place in Andhra Pradesh, India), where coffee is a common morning and evening beverage.

So I started having coffee since my childhood itself. Once my grandmother is done preparing coffee, she sits on the floor with steel cups and starts distributing the coffee to everyone in the family. I and my brother sit around her and have it. It used to be a daily ritual for us.

I might not have known at that time, but when I recall those memories now, I feel content and realize that small habits like these can make a family bond stronger. That's why I feel it is important to stay in the present and make memories with our loved ones because once time is gone, it never comes back.

By the way, I used to add borugulu (puffed rice) to my coffee. You may not believe me, but this is the best snack I've ever had with coffee.

Center table arrangement.

I found a budget-friendly flower shop nearby, so I brought some fresh flowers home. I always keep plastic flowers at home, though, because the sight of the flowers makes me happy. I used an olive oil glass bottle to keep the fresh flowers and a water jug for plastic flowers.

Having a sectional tray on the centre table helps us keep multiple items in one place, like TV and other remotes for immediate use, home and vehicle keys to grab before we step out, books you are currently reading or want to read, pen and sticky notes to make a quick to-do list or grocery list.

A center table should be clutter free because we look at it and use it regularly. So, having such tray organisers on the table makes it look minimalistic and neat.

Had a simple balcony dinner.

We often enjoy simple dates like these in our home. We don't always need to go on fancy or expensive dates to enjoy ourselves, although we can absolutely do it if that is what you want as a couple or a family. I often enjoy little things like these and the same goes for my husband, so we cook special meals and decorate a little bit to make it a special dinner. Sometimes we pair up dinner with a movie or just have dinner alone to speak our hearts out.

Doing simple things like these show your efforts and love towards your partner and elevate happiness in your relationship.
