Why can’t your brand exist without UGC? 🧐

During all my trainings, I always emphasize the importance of collecting user-generated content for any business. UGC is the lifeblood of your brand - neither expensive professional production nor creative IGC (influencer-generated content) can replace it! 🙄

Let me give you an example from my favorite niche (aesthetic niche, of course!):
Whenever we post before and after photos of our clients’ patients that we collected from the patients themselves, they ALWAYS OUTPERFORM before and after photos made by the clinic staff.

Content from end users brings more sales! And it also diversifies your Feed, as all “creators” aka your clients/followers have their own style.

Content length DOES matter!

Instagram always tracks Watch-Through-Rate:
📏 for Reels, it tracks the % of the video watched;
📏 for Stories, it tracks where the followers dropped off from watching your Stories;
📏 for Carousels, it tracks which slides they dropped off from;
📏 for Lives, it tracks when they left your Live.

Content length literally affects the results you can achieve and the types of interactions you can collect. It’s generally difficult to pinpoint why a certain length is more optimal than others, but based on engagement data from all our clients that my team at .agency manages, here are some tips you can follow. 🤚 JK Rowling for publicly refusing to use the term “people who menstruate” instead of “women.”
🤚Zara for their «The jacket» campaign that reminded some users of Palestinians in the rubble of Gaza
🤚 and many more...

But here’s the kicker: You never know what might trigger your audience! 🤷‍♀️Sure, being socially conscious is crucial, but can you really protect your brand from everything? Especially when you’ve got more employees than you can count on one hand?
