আগরতলা, 19 এপ্রিল ত্রিপুরা পশ্চিম লোকসভা কেন্দ্রের ভোট এবং রামনগর বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের উপনির্বাচনের জন্য শুক্রবার সকাল 7 টায় কঠোর নিরাপত্তার মধ্যে শুরু হয়েছে, একজন নির্বাচন কর্মকর্তা জানিয়েছেন।

ত্রিপুরা পশ্চিম লোকসভা আসনে নয়জন প্রার্থী মাঠে থাকলেও, লড়াই হবে মূলত বিজেপি প্রার্থী বিপ্লব কুমার দেব এবং রাজ্য কংগ্রেসের সভাপতি আশিস কুমার সাহার মধ্যে, যিনি ভারত ব্লক সমর্থিত।

মোট 14.61 লক্ষ ভোটার - 7.33 লক্ষ পুরুষ এবং 7.28 লক্ষ মহিলা - তাদের ভোটাধিকার প্রয়োগের যোগ্য।

“সকল ভোটকেন্দ্রে কেন্দ্রীয় আধাসামরিক বাহিনী মোতায়েন করা হয়েছিল, শান্তিপূর্ণ ভোট নিশ্চিত করতে অন্যান্য বাহিনীর সদস্যদেরও উপলব্ধ করা হয়েছিল। অবাধ ও সুষ্ঠু ভোট নিশ্চিত করার জন্য সমস্ত বুথে ওয়েবকাস্টিং করা হচ্ছে,” এই কর্মকর্তা বলেছেন।

ভোট প্রক্রিয়া চলাকালীন যেকোনো অনুপ্রবেশ ঠেকাতে ভারত-বাংলাদেশ সীমান্ত সিল করে দেওয়া হয়েছে।

রামনগর বিধানসভা উপনির্বাচনে, বিজেপি প্রার্থী আগরতলা মেয়র দীপক মজুমের এবং প্রাক্তন সিপিআই(এম) বিধায়ক রতন দাসের মধ্যে লড়াইয়ের রেখা টানা হয়েছে৷

উপ-নির্বাচনে 54,669 জন ভোটার তাদের ভোট দেবেন বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।

করবুক মহকুমার অন্তর্গত আজ মঙ্গলবার দুপুরবেলা 1,50 মিনিট নাগাদ Sitioa mog পাড়া এলাকাবাসীরা 2 জন সন্দেহ ব্যক্তিকে আটক করে, খবর দেওয়া হয় করবুক মহকুমা SDPO Gamanjoy Reang সে সঙ্গে করবুক থানা ওসি জহরলাল দেববর্মা ও করবুক থানা পুলিশ কে নিয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে পৌঁছে Sitioa mog পাড়াতে করবুক মহকুমার SDPO যে দুইজনকে Sitioa mog এলাকাবাসী আটক করেন দুইজনে সঙ্গে কথাবার্তা বলে দুই জনের নাম জানা যায় বর্ধমান দেববর্মা বয়স 35বছর, অঞ্জিত ত্রিপুরা বয়স 20 বছর তাদের বাড়ি হল দক্ষিণ তুলিবাড়ি মেলাঘর থানা সোনামুড়া দুইজন থেকে উদ্ধার করা হয় তিনটি মোবাইল ফোন, একটি ব্যাগ , একটি বাইক নাম্বার TR03M 7888, একটি বেগ থেকে 500g গাজা উদ্ধার করেন পরে তাদের থেকে জানা যায় জলেয়া মগ পাড়াতে এলাকা 2 কেজি গাজা বিক্রি করে দেন মগ কাছে, করবুক মহকুমার SDPO Gamanjoy Reang সেখানে গিয়ে মধু মগ সঙ্গে কথাবার্তা বলে স্বীকার করে মধু মগ তার বাড়ি থেকে 2 কেজি গাজা বের করে দে, মোট 2কেজি500g গাজা(বাজার মূল্য দাম 20, হাজার টাকা) উদ্ধার করলেন, 3জন কে করবুক থানা পুলিশ আটক করে
