In the first case, Mahesh Parmar, a 63-year-old retired bank manager, lost Rs 4.44 lakh to a fake credit card offer on Facebook. Parmar shared his personal and financial details, believing the offer to be genuine, and later discovered that his account had been debited. In the second case, Rachna Patel, a 27-year-old homemaker, was duped of Rs 2.36 lakh in a work-from-home scam. Patel invested in the scheme, hoping to earn easy money, but later realized it was a fraud. In the third case, Ramesh Parmar, a 61-year-old man, lost Rs 1 lakh in an online investment scam. Parmar invested in the scheme, promising double returns, but later found that his account had been blocked and his money transferred to a private account. The police have registered cases and are investigating these incidents.
