Hailing from Assam, Rubha Bharali faced a lot of criticism when she decided to be a part of the beauty industry. She had been told that her entire life that her smile, her body, and hairs is not attractive, and thatโs one of the reasons she stopped smiling in her photos. She was told that her hairstyle isnโt feminine and that should permanently straighten her hair, and body shaming was the icing to that cake, narrated Rubha while recalling her ordeal to make it this far.
She had given up hopes of participating in state auditions, but after she gathered courage, she was glad she did. She met many amazing girls who were self-assured, well-trained and at ease with themselves; they inspired her to perform her best. โWhen she was informed that she would be representing my birth state, her life changed instantly.
