With the cooperation of state governments, the scheme will be implemented across 100 districts of the country. Tripura's Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath stated that this initiative will help increase farmers' income and promote the use of advanced agricultural technologies.

Under the scheme, farmers will receive access to improved seeds, fertilizers, modern irrigation systems, and training. The central government anticipates a significant rise in food grain production through this initiative.

He described it as a reflection of the aspirations of all sections of society, aimed at holistic development and accelerating Indiaโ€™s journey towards becoming a developed nation.

He remarked, "This budget lays out a comprehensive framework for the empowerment of the poor, youth, farmers, and women. Over the past decade, the world has witnessed a new and stronger India. The budget clearly indicates that India's role in the global economy will become even more significant."

Highlighting key measures, Shri Deb welcomed the proposed annual tax relief for incomes up to โ‚น12 lakh, simplification of tax structures, and reduction of TDS burdens for senior citizens, which will benefit middle-class and lower-middle-class families. The liberalization of 100% foreign investment in the insurance sector and special initiatives for women empowerment were also appreciated for ensuring their economic independence and social participation.

He further emphasized that the budget opens new opportunities in agriculture, manufacturing, employment generation, MSME development, rural upliftment, and innovation. "The introduction of a special tourism package and the revamping of 50 major tourism centers will boost the economy alongside attracting tourists. The complete removal of duties on 36 cancer drugs will reduce treatment costs for patients with these critical illnesses," Shri Deb said.

He lauded the initiative to promote nuclear power for energy generation and supply to households, and the establishment of a special board to accelerate makhana cultivation, which will economically benefit many families.

Regarding industry development, Shri Deb pointed out significant steps like increased loan facilities under microcredit cards, targets to boost small-scale exports, and the announcement of new fertilizer plants, including one in Assam. He said, "Expanding the Startup Fund will create opportunities for young entrepreneurs, while the leather industry reforms, including the creation of 22 lakh jobs, are commendable."

He highlighted measures for farmers, including increasing the Kisan Credit Card limit from โ‚น3 lakh to โ‚น5 lakh, support for 1.7 crore farmers under the Dhanyadhan Yojana, and achieving self-reliance in pulses, edible oils, and cotton production over the next few years.

In the healthcare sector, Shri Deb appreciated the target to add 10,000 medical college seats this year and increase the number by 75,000 over the next five years. The establishment of cancer research centers in government hospitals was also acknowledged as a step towards decentralized healthcare services.

He applauded the additional investment in IIT infrastructure and expansion, which will benefit students. He mentioned the creation of special economic zones for fisheries and the doubling of cotton production as positive moves toward economic growth.

"Our rapidly growing economy has gained global recognition due to our track record of development and structural reforms over the past decade," he said. "The budget outlines a clear path for the holistic development of every region. The construction of 120 new airports and removal of duties on 35 lithium-ion battery components will make battery-operated vehicles and home appliances more affordable."

He concluded by expressing gratitude to Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting a people-centric budget that promises benefits to every Indian and accelerates the vision of a developed India.
