đChabimura - an archaeological site of Tripura, famous for its rock-cut carvings of many Hindu deities, engraved on steep mountain wall on the bank of Gomati River.

Starting from Lord Shiva,Vishnu,Durga, there are as many as 50 rock carvings in Chabimura & these stone images are estimated to have carved during 15th century.
.
.
The only way to experience this is via a boat ride (Rs.150 per person on sharing/Rs.1500 for a private boat). Believe me, when I say this. This boat ride across the Gomati River is an experience in itself. It feels as if you are meandering through the Amazon Rainforest.

The boat stops at two places.
.
âĒī¸At the most stunning carving of 14 metre-high Lord Durga, locally known as Chakrak Ma.
âĒī¸Another spot where you will get to explore the Chabimura Caves

How to Reach :
âĒī¸You can easily drive to this place as itâs hardly 80 kms from the capital city of Agartala.
.
âĒī¸If you want to go by public transport, then take a bus to Amarpur from Agartala(via Udaipur) & from there you need to hire a tuk-tuk (More 8 KMs)
.

Where to stay :
â¨You can easily return to Agartala on the same day as itâs not that far from the capital (Hardly takes 2 hours).
