השבוע מגיע לישראל רומן רבינוביץ', זוכה הפרס השני בתחרות רובינשטיין 2008, לפתוח את סדרת הרסיטלים לפסנתר של המרכז למוסיקה קאמרית.
רסיטל חגיגי ומיוחד המוקדש ליצירת המופת המונומנטלית של והאן סבסטיאן באך– וריאציות גולדברג, אותה מבצע רבינוביץ’ בעונות האחרונות באולמות החשובים בעולם, בהם גם אולם וויגמור בלונדון.

This week, Roman Rabinovich, Second Prize winner of the 2008 Rubinstein Competition, will arrive to Israel to open the Piano Recital Series of theI Israeli conservatory of music Tel Avi.
The recital is edicated to Johann Sebastian Bach’s monumental keyboard masterpiece, the *Goldberg Variations*, which Rabinovich has been performing in recent seasons around the world, including at London’s renowned Wigmore Hall.

The Rubinstein Competition is back!

The 18th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition will be held from April 28 to May 15, 2026, at the Tel Aviv Museum.
The competition will open with a concert with the winners of the last competition: Kevin Chen and Yukina Yukine Kurokiand with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (April 28).

Ticket sales will begin in February.

Registration for the 18th competition broke records. Over 500 pianists began the registration process. 200 of them met all the registration requirements. This week, the 42 participants selected from among the candidates were announced, :
including 5 competitors from Israel, 11 from China, 5 from South Korea, 3 from Russia, 2 from Bulgaria, 2 from the UK, and one from each of the following countries: Ukraine, USA, Belarus, Georgia, Japan, Latvia, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Canada and Switzerland. 7 of the competitors are women and 35 are men. The youngest competitor is 18. The average age is 25.

סוף שבוע שכולו מוסיקה וטבע, בנוף פסטורלי עוצר נשימה, עם הפסנתרנים הישראלים שהתקבלו לתחרות רובינשטיין 2026 ועם מוזיקאים ישראלים מובילים: תייסיר אליאס, זוהר פרסקו, אליאס אליאס, מיכל קורמן, איתן מיכנובסקי, עדי הארוני ובשארה הארוני.

Happy birthday Franz Liszt!
The Hungarian composer, virtuoso pianist of the Romantic period, was born 22 October 1811. With a diverse body of work spanning over six decades, he is considered one of the most prolific and influential musicians of his era, and his piano works remain central to the repertoire today, also on the Arthur Rubistein interntional competition were many of the Competitors play his works.

Yukine Kuroki, The Bronze medalist of our 17th competition plays his Sonata in B Minor, on the second stge of the competition.

This year's annual concert hosted by the American Friends of the Arthur Rubinstein Society (AFARIMS) will feature Yukine Kuroki, the 2023 Bronze Medalist and winner of the Classical Concerto Prize.

She is continuously learning new repertoire and is not hesitant to perform less familiar compositions, all with the same flair and sweeping passion.

עוד לא מאוחר!
יוקינה קורוקי, הזוכה במדליית הארד ובפרס על הביצוע הטוב ביותר של קונצ'רטו קלאסי בתחרות רובינשטיין 2023, מגיעה בשבוע הבא לשלושה קונצרטים עם התזמורת הסימפונית הישראלית ראשון לציון.
יוקינה תנגן בראשון לציון, ברחובות ובתל אביב את קונצ'רטו מס' 5 ("הקיסר") של בטהובן.
יש עדיין מקומות אחרונים זמינים.

יוקינה קורוקי, הזוכה במדליית הארד בתחרות רובינשטיין האחרונה, תגיע לישראל לנגן בפתיחת עונת הקונצרטים של הסימפונית הישראלית ראשון לציון.
מאז זכייתה בתחרות רובינשטיין ובמקום הראשון בתחרויות ליסט באוטרכט, ובתחרות דבלין, יוקינה מופיעה ברחבי העולם, וניגנה, בין השאר, רסיטל בכורה בלונדון שהופק בידי ידידי תחרות רובינשטיין בבריטניה. היא תנגן באוקטובר רסיטל באולם קרנגי בניו יורק בהפקת ידידי תחרות רובינשטיין בארה"ב, ושני רסיטלים, בסידני ובמלבורן בהפקת ידידי תחרות רובינשטיין באוסטרליה.
