Named after one of the 20th century’s greatest pianists, the competition is a wonderful tradition going back over 50 years. In its pursuit of excellence, the Rubinstein Competition has gained a reputation as one of the most prominent piano competitions in the world, attracting distinguished jury members and talented competitors who have become accomplished pianists, while maintaining its festive atmosphere and being a true celebration for music lovers.

קוין צ'ן, הזוכה במדלית הזהב בתחרות רובינשטיין האחרונה, השתתף אמש במפגש מוזיקלי בהשתתפות ניר צוק, יו"ר עמותת רובינשטיין, אריה רפופורט, יו"ר ההנהלה, אריאל כהן, המנהל המוזיקלי, אריה ורדי היועץ המוזיקלי (וכיום מורו של צ'ן), חברי חוג הנאמנים, חברי ההנהלה וחברי העמותה.

צ'ן הגיע לישראל בהזמנת התזמורת הסימפונית ירושלים לסדרה של שני קונצרטים בניצוחו של פרופ' אריה ורדי. בגיל 18 קווין צ'ן היה לאחד הזוכים הצעירים אי פעם בתחרות ארתור רובינשטיין (2023). מאז זכייתו הוא מוזמן לקונצרטים ברחבי העולם, והיום הוא לומד ב-Hochschule für Musik בהנובר תחת הנחייתו של פרופ' אריה ורדי.
Kevin Chen played last night at a musical gathering with the participation of Nir Zuk, Chair of the Rubinstein Music Society, Arie Rapoport, Chair of the Board, Ariel Cohen, Artistic Director, Prof. Arie Vardi, Musical Advisor, Patrons, Members of the Board of Directors, and Members of the Society.
Chen came to Israel at the invitation of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra for a series of two concerts conducted by Prof. Arie Vardi. At 18, Kevin Chen became one of the youngest winners of the Arthur Rubinstein Competition (2023). Since his triumph, he has been invited to concerts around the world. Today, Kevin studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Hannover under the guidance of Prof. Arie Vardi.

שנה לתחרות רובינשטיין 2026, מגיע לישראל הזוכה במדליית הזהב בתחרות האחרונה (2023) - קווין צ'ן, לקונצרט בניצוחו של יו"ר חבר השופטים של תחרות רובינשטיין, פרופ' אריה ורדי, שהיום הוא גם מורו של צ'ן....

זה יקרה ב26 במאי, מסגרת הסדרה הקלאסית הגדולה של המשכן לאומנויות הבמה באשדוד, בקונצרט "אינטרמצו עם אריק "Djamila", ורדי ינחה וינצח על התזמורת הסימפונית ירושלים, עם צ'ן כסולן.

החודש מציין עולם המוזיקה 134 שנים ללידתו של המלחין הרוסי, סרגיי פרוקופייב.
יצירותיו נוגנו על במות תחרות רובינשטיין לאורך השנים פעמים רבות,
אחת הביצועים הזכורים ביותר הוא של דניל טריפונוב, זוכה מדליית הזהב בתחרות רובינשטיין 2011, שניגן את סונטה מס' 3 של פרוקופייב.

This month marks the 134th anniversary of the birth of the Russian composer, Sergei Prokofiev.
His works have been played on the stages of the Rubinstein Competition many times over the years.
One of the most memorable performances is that of Danill Trifonov, the gold medalist at the 2011 Rubinstein Competition, who played Prokofiev's Sonata No. 3 in A minor.

The Israeli Conservatory of Music Tel Aviv will host Prof. Arie Vardi
for two days of master classes.

The Tel Aviv Conservatory has a long-standing relationship with Prof. Vardi, who is a guest of the Conservatory every year, and this year Prof. Vardi agreed to expand the framework of the master classes to two consecutive days in which 8 lessons will be held.
The master classes with Prof. Vardi are always an enriching experience: musical, pianist, methodological and cultural. Prof. Vardi's ability to merge all of these aspects in his lectures and to navigate them freely and pleasantly is unique.

We had 2 exciting concerts, with Yukine Kuroki, the bronze medalist of the last Rubinstein Competition, with pianist Ilya Shmuckler and the Israel Chamber Orchestra conducted by Shmuel Elbaz.
The First, at the Tel Aviv Museum (22/4), and the second concert In Netivot (23/4)- as a tribute to the residents of Netivot and the surrounding communities in the western Negev.
