The jury - Dan Wellman, Mariette Reisenbach, Guillaume de Sey, Michal Lavi and Stefan Komandriev at the Haifa international film festival - awarded the prize for the best Israeli feature film to "The Vanishing Soldier" directed by Danny Rosenberg and produced by Chilik michaeli Avraham pirchi and Itamar pirchi. The judges' reasoning: "A well-directed film that makes exceptional use of cinematic means of expression and succeeds in depicting the dilemma of an entire society in times of war. Despite the traumatic dilemma at its center, the film is emotional, funny and tragic at the same time, and sweeps the audience into an adventurous journey led by the main character, whose bursting energy Hers is evident in every frame."

"החייל הנעלם", זוכה פרס הסרט העלילתי הישראלי הטוב ביותר - פסטיבל הסרטים חיפה 2023 . נימוקי השופטים: "סרט מבוים היטב העושה שימוש יוצא מן הכלל באמצעי המבע הקולנועיים ומצליח לתאר דילמה של חברה שלמה בעתות מלחמה. למרות הדילמה הטראומטית הניצבת במרכזו, הסרט רגשי, מצחיק וטרגי בו זמנית, וסוחף את הקהל למסע הרפתקני בהובלת הדמות הראשית, שהאנרגיה המתפרצת שלה ניכרת בכל פריים".
