The Cardiff Canucks are thrilled to be adding Max Birbraer to our lineup for the 24/25 season
A former 3rd round NHL draft pick and former Cardiff Devil, Max brings a wealth of talent and experience to the Canucks. As well as playing for the team, Max will also serve as our player consultant, helping our younger players develop into well rounded Pro’s.
Max on joining the Canucks - “I’m really excited to get involved and be a part of this unique set up from a playing perspective as well as in a consulting role. I look forward to offering the guys mentorship through knowledge and experience I’ve accumulated throughout my career which hopefully propels them to next level and helps them in achieving their personal goals”
Trevor Hendrikx on his newest Canuck - “When the opportunity presented itself to add someone of Max’s calibre, it was a no brainer for us. Being drafted to the NHL, playing at the highest levels coupled with the experience and talent he has, is invaluable for our group. Adding Max to our strong core of players and youngsters is a real statement to what we’re trying to accomplish with the Canucks”
