A night in Jerusalem.
1:13 am.
I am woken up by the sound of rocket warning sirens. Heart racing, I jump out of bed and run to my daughter’s room. Wake up! Rockets again in Jerusalem! We rush to the secure room.
Are you ok honey?
-Dad, why can’t I hear the sirens outside?
Because the door and windows are shut dear.
-Ummm…no dad. The siren is coming from your phone. You didn’t set the Code Red App for Jerusalem only. The rockets are in the south.

Oops. Sorry for waking you. She takes my phone and sets it properly. Relief. But I guess somewhere in Ashkelon a dad is comforting his daughter from a real siren.
