The Jubilee 2025, proclaimed by Pope Francis, opened today in the Holy Land. H.B. Card. Pierbattista Pizzaballa celebrated the Solemn Opening Mass on Sunday, December 29.
The theme of the Jubilee is hope. During the celebration, the Cardinal stressed that we must learn to hope again and live a true dynamic of conversion in order to truly receive the plenary indulgence.
The faithful will be able to participate in the grace of this holy year in three basilicas in the Holy Land: the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth, the Basilica of the Resurrection - Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
