This week on Give a pet a home with Kilcoole Vets we speak to Sandra from Milo’s Mission Rescue to try and find forever homes for these beauties 🏡 🐾 ❤️

Kate in the pink bag is sh*tzu/ jack Russel x.

Sam, George and Fred are 8 week old lurcher x pups. They are doing well with toilet training but Fred does everything to avoid going outside, especially if it’s raining!

They love to be around people and are happy to say hello to anyone. George is getting used to the lead and likes to explore, but Fred prefers to be carried! Both love a cuddle and a lap to sit in. They sleep quite a bit during the day but will be up once people are moving around so they don’t miss out. They like to be under your feet. They love trying to take baubles off the Christmas tree and I’ve given up trying to take my slipper back!

They play tug of war together with toys. Fred doesn’t like the car, both love their food. They sleep all night in the crate together but once someone is awake they will cry. Vaccine booked for the 27th December

Archie 💜 is a small black Terrier, lovely little fella, he is neutered, chipped, good on lead, very good with cats, he is in foster currently but is looking for his forever home .. He is an enthusiastic little dog and so a home with older children would be best ..

This week on Give a pet a home with Kilcoole Vets we speak to Alex from Wicklow Animal Welfare to try and find a forever home for Charlie 🏡 🐾 🧡

Charlie, our 7 year old German Pointer x, found himself in the pound through no fault of his own. This boy loves a run in the field, like any middle aged dog he enjoys and good snooze and loves his food. We would like to find Charlie a home with a garden for him to potter in, an active home to match his breed and someone around a bit initially.

A home that will commit to provide structure and ongoing training would be ideal. Kids 10+. He could live as an only dog with another female big breed dog.

This week on Give a pet a home with Kilcoole Vets we speak to Sally from K.W.W.S.P.C.A. To try and find Phoebe’s forever home 🏡 🐾 ❤️

This beautiful lurcher is just under a year old and is a very good and friendly girl. She was adopted from the KWWSPCA only last month but a child in the home has developed an allergy to dog-hair so Phoebe unfortunately needs to move to a new home.

The family is devastated as Phoebe is already loved and cherished. Phoebe has been making great progress with her training and is an ideal pet for some other lucky family.

Phoebe has been spayed, is microchipped 972274200515071, has been vaccinated and has received the usual preventative flea/worm treatments.

Meet Aurora ❤️
This pint-sized princess recently arrived in Ash after being found dumped. Having done her legal stray hold time, she is now looking for a home of her own!

She's a terrier cross and is approximately a year old - a real character. She's full of fun and loves getting out and about. She loves people and charms everyone she meets!

She can't live with cats as she chases them, but could live with another dog pending a successful meet and greet and would be fine with older children. She's *even* smaller than she looks in the photo.

This week on give a pet a home with Kilcoole Vets we speak to Alex from Wicklow Animal Welfare and try and find a forever home for Georgie (black) and Gigi (brindle) 🏡 🐾 ❤️

Georgie and Gigi are our two 18 month collie x ladies. The girls came in very unsure of themselves but have blossomed at rescue and love nothing more than a run in the field with their doggy friends.

Georgie has landed in her foster home. Georgie and her sister Gigi have had no luck. They found themselves in Wexford pound at the young age of a year and we brought them to rescue around 6 months ago. Neither have had any enquiries at all. As young medium sized mixed breed dogs at they are so overlooked.

We would love the girls to find a home either together or separately in the country where they can potter around a secure garden. As they are collie x and very smart ladies, an active home interested in putting their brains to work would be great.

They are possibly whippet x as they have some more of the relaxed sighthound tendencies and will happily snooze away in the sun. Teen plus home. Not cat tested.

This week on Give a pet a home with Kilcoole Vets we speak to Sandra from Milo’s Mission Rescue about finding a home for these 3 beauties ❤️🏡 🐾

Melvin, Poppy and Millie are 3 beautiful 11-week old domestic short haired kittens, with the most lovely colouring. Melvin is a black and white tabby, while Poppy and Millie are black, white and orange.
They were born to a feral mom cat, but have been handled by their minder since birth. They are fully litter trained, have had their first vaccination and have no medical issues.
They are very sweet natured and full of energy and, since coming to their foster home, their confidence continues to grow and they love exploring their new environment and playing with all their toys. They love climbing cat trees and scratching posts. Great eaters, and no problem napping too!
They are all looking for loving homes, where they will get lots of love, cuddles and interaction preferably where they will not be left home alone for long periods of time during the day.
