Google is rolling out changes to business websites on Google Maps. From March 1, 2024:

Simple business websites, known as 🏢 Business Site, will be 🛑 discontinued.
Customers clicking the link will be 🔗 directly redirected to your business profile on Google.
This redirection will be active until 📅 June 10, 2024.
If you decide you no longer wish to manage your business profile:

You can 🗑️ remove it from your account.
However, deleting the profile from your account does 🚫 not remove it from Google Maps.
If the business no longer exists and is removed from your account, it will still be 🌍 visible on Google Maps.

I received this question from my customer today, so I looked more into it :

"I noticed that the hashtags I entered in uppercase letters weren't working on YouTube. Is there a difference between how hashtags work on Facebook and YouTube?"

🇬🇧 There are differences in how hashtags work on YouTube and Facebook. On YouTube, the case of letters in hashtags matters. For example, and are treated as two different tags. But on Facebook, the letter case doesn't matter, so and are seen as the same.

On YouTube, clicking on a hashtag helps you find similar videos. Hashtags on Facebook also help categorize content, but they're not as popular as on Instagram or Twitter.

In summary, on YouTube, you need to be careful about how you write hashtags. On Facebook, it's less important. It's good to try different hashtags on different platforms to see what works best.
