Our journey began in 2014, born from the challenges and triumphs of Richa's early writing career. Her first novel, 'My Piece of Sky,' earned accolades including the 3rd Prize in the Literary Gem Award in America in 2013. Yet, despite the recognition, traditional publishing pathways were riddled with exorbitant costs and offered no royalties. After spending thousands of euros, we finally self-published through Notion Press. The financial returns were meagre, hardly compensating for the time and effort invested in the book. This initial experience led to a hiatus from the publishing world that lasted nearly six years. Then came the COVID-19 pandemicโ€”a global tragedy, but also a period of introspection and opportunity for us. It allowed us time to rethink and strategise, catalysing a complete paradigm shift in our approach to writing, editing, and publishing. During this transformative period, Richa was joined by her husband, infusing the venture with his expertise and enthusiasm. The pandemic years were not just a pause; they were a pivot. They provided us the invaluable time to expand into publishing books, ebooks, audiobooks, and even developing apps. Fast-forward to 2023, and Newbee Publication has flourished into a full-fledged publisher with an extensive catalogue of over 180 items, including books, journals, logbooks, apps, ebooks, and audiobooks. From aspiring writers navigating the complex landscape of traditional publishing to becoming a multifaceted publishing house, our journey over the last nine years has been nothing short of transformative. Now, we stand on the other side of the publishing world, empowered and driven to create content that enriches lives. We hold the Amazon brand registry and EU Trademark, symbolising our dedication to delivering valuable resources. Our mission is to simplify your life by offering evidence-based information in a user-friendly format, empowering you to enhance your quality of life without the need for extensive research. At Newbee Publication, we consider it an honour to be part of your journey. Our team, comprising experts in writing, special education, yoga, and occupational therapy, customizes our offerings to cater to your specific needs. Join us on this exciting journey as we introduce unique approaches and methodologies that set us apart. Cursive got dropped from a lot of classrooms a decade ago. Now it's quietly making a comeback โ€” and the reasons go well beyond 'kids should be able to read Grandma's handwriting'. ๐Ÿ’Œ
The connected, flowing motion of cursive is now linked to stronger memory, language processing and coordination than typing or even print handwriting alone. For children aged 8 and up, it's a genuinely useful brain-building skill, not just a nice-to-have.
The Cursive Handwriting Workbook with Positive Affirmations was built with that in mind โ€” and with something extra. Every page pairs cursive practice with an affirmation, so children build:
Smooth, connected letter formation
Genuine self-esteem, one encouraging phrase at a time
A skill that's coming back into classrooms across the world
It's the kind of quiet, confidence-building practice that fits easily into a September routine.

27 US states have brought back mandatory cursive teaching since 2026 โ€” and it's not nostalgia driving it. โœ๏ธ
Research now shows cursive writing activates brain rhythms linked to memory and attention more than typing does, and children who learn cursive engage brain regions tied to memory, language and coordination.
In plain terms: the flowing, connected motion of cursive asks more of a developing brain than tapping a screen ever will.
That's why we built the Cursive Handwriting Workbook with Positive Affirmations โ€” it teaches the connected-letter skill while weaving in confidence-building affirmations, so children build penmanship and self-belief on the same page. ๐Ÿ’›

Quick question for parents of 8-10 year olds: when your child writes a full page, do they get tired, cramped, or noticeably slower by the end? ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ
That's not laziness โ€” it's handwriting fluency, and it's a real, teachable skill. Research on children this age shows handwriting speed directly predicts writing quality, and by extension, marks in class tests and exams.
Ready to Improve (Ages 8-10) tackles this head-on, with:
>Activities designed for complex Fine motor and visual motor skills development
>Diverse shapes and growing complexity
>Introduction to 2-D and complex shapes
>Boosted visual-perceptual motor skills
>Problem-solving through intricate shapes and reasoning
>A fusion of shapes and logical/mathematical reasoning for sharper critical thinking
With the new school year almost here, a few weeks of practice now can mean noticeably less fatigue โ€” and fewer lost marks โ€” once the workload ramps up.

handwriting can genuinely limit exam performance. ๐Ÿ“
It's not just about neatness. When forming letters still takes real mental effort at age 8-10, there's less brainpower left for the actual thinking โ€” spelling, structure, getting ideas down before they're forgotten.
Examiners have even reported awarding fewer marks for scripts that are hard to read, even when the answer underneath is correct. That's a real, avoidable disadvantage.
Ready to Improve (Ages 8-10) is built to close that gap โ€” activities that build handwriting speed and consistency, so writing becomes automatic instead of effortful, right when children need that fluency most.

Back to school is close now โ€” and for a lot of 6-8 year olds, this is the year handwriting stops being 'cute wobbly letters' and starts actually counting. ๐Ÿ“
Teachers notice quickly which children can form letters consistently and which are still working it out mid-sentence. It's not about talent โ€” it's about how much structured practice a child has had.
Ready to Improve (Ages 6-8) is a handwriting activity book built specifically for this stage, focused on:
Visual-motor integration exercises that build consistent letter formation
Structured, repeatable practice that actually sticks
Designed by an occupational therapist and special educator
A few pages a week between now and September could make the first term noticeably smoother.

A survey of nearly 1,900 teachers found that over 50% of boys and more than 30% of girls struggle to write fluidly and legibly. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
That's not a small gap โ€” and for children aged 6-8, this is exactly the window where letter formation habits set for years to come, good or bad.
The encouraging part: legibility is genuinely learnable. One 2025 classroom study saw legibility scores more than triple with structured, consistent practice โ€” no drilling required, just the right kind of repetition.
Ready to Improve was built for this exact stage: an activity book that strengthens visual-motor integration so letters form more consistently, freeing up young minds to focus on spelling and ideas instead of just "getting the letters right".
